Convenient parking and entrances along with great entertainment. The Blake Shelton and Carly Pearce concert was great but the lack of drunk control really ruined the experience. Because of previous bad experiences further back, I bought seats in row three, hoping I'd actually get to use it instead of having to stand to see the concert. I was also hoping there would be less issues with drunks. WRONG!!! Part way through the concert, two drunks showed up beside me, each with two full glasses of beer. They were dancing around and spilling beer all over the chairs and coats of the people in front of us. Then I had to stand the whole time to keep them out of my personal space and reduce my chances of getting beer spilled on me. After finishing their beer, they left. What a relief, then a while later they showed back up again. Again with two full beers each. Too bad they didn't spill or drink half of them on the way back. SOSMOI. I think Denny Sanford Center needs to adapt some kind of policy for drunk control. The disregard for common courtesy by drunks should not be tolerated. It ruins the experience for those who pay GOOD MONEY for seats to watch a concert. Maybe DSC needs to implement a non-drinking area or drunks only area. There should be some smart people out there to...
Read moreWith Disney on Ice coming, this a reminder that you can't bring a diaper bag inside. They are aware the bag policy to keep everyone safe is an issue with parents and they target mainly women, but everyone knows some new mom can stash a weapon between those wipes and diapers or tuck a shiv behind the diaper cream. Thank God no weapon has ever before been able to fit into a 6.5 by 4.5 inch clutch you can have that is canvas, nylon, or leather material- no chair straps as that is a weapon per the rules. For everyone's safety make sure to put everything in one zip lock bag per a person. Heck even your baby is allowed a sandwich bag or a clutch. So thoughtful. Ziplocks are so spacious, you can easily fit a bottle, diapers, wipes, snacks, a change of clothes, hand sanitizer and noise cancelling headphones into a single sandwich bag. Oh and your phone, keys, sanitary items and wallet (remember you get one bag). you might even have some extra room to fit your new $30 Disney on Ice glow wand. Forget a sandwich bag at home? No problem, you can buy one for $5 there. I can't believe just a couple years ago they would let everyone inside with opaque bags no one bothered to check for weapons. What lawless...
Read moreI wasn't going to write a review, BUT I have been traveling here for the PBR each year. This year I'm disappointed in the security. So many people, like myself, were unaware of the small bag only policy. This should be made very easy to follow when purchasing tickets. This is the same for the NFR I had several notifications telling me about the bag policy.
While your staff (one specific red head with glasses) was wearing a mask was impossible to hear in the crowd grew frustrated I couldn't "follow her directions" because I couldn't hear - started yelling at me. I literally saw several women throw purses or stash them inside the facility. How safe is that? I could have easily folded it to fit in a pocket, but I was told no. I also could have easily stashed this very purse on my body or my boots and no one would have figured it out.
Some people did not drive to the facility for the fact they were going to drink, yet staff tell you to go put it in a vehicle.
There's a bag policy, but no standards when it comes to social distancing and mask wearing. Not surprising, but truly a let down from...
