Tide Beach Park — Attraction in Solana Beach

This is a great little beach. Since it's kind of out of the way, it's a lot less busy than neighboring beaches. The ability to bring dogs while they're leashed is nice in addition to the ability to surf. Not really a sunbathing beach though. The sand is soft, but not so soft that it's hard to walk in. I would have to say this is a pretty damn good beach not many people so you have a lot of space and it’s Extra clean ( no trash anywhere ) the water was a little dirty ( clumps of seaweed all over ) didn’t see any stingrays or unsavory people. I believe the bad reviews are the residents not wanting people to come to their beach. And the steps are a little steep but nothing major. Only...

Tide Park is just north of Fletcher Cove. It is generally more quiet that Fletcher Cove, but a brisk walk away. Solana Beach offers some of the finest coastline in San Diego County.
