Mattress Warehouse of Somers Point — Attraction in Somers Point

Patrick (Sales rep) sold my wife and I a bed set up and was very professional on the Sunday (April 2, 2017) that we made the purchase... Despite my attempt to get the best price (and we thought we did)my wife and I said that we were going to shop around. At that point Patrick asked what were we looking to spend bottom line. We told him and he made it work. That said, my wife received a call from Patrick on the day of the pick up (April 5, 2017) and he told her that there was an issue with the box spring (the warehouse sent the wrong one). I then called Patrick after speaking with my wife, and he explained that he had another new box spring in the back of his store, and I could have that if it was okay with me (He did state that it was a cheaper model and we would receive a $100 credit).... I arrived at the store after work at 5:30 on April 5, 2017 and the box spring was ripped (Fabric) (no big deal), and then he hands me a box with a frame in it that was obviously taped up at the store. Patrick stated that the box was damaged during shipping but the frame was new. (Patrick obviously boxed up a frame he found laying in his small store warehouse). Upon taking receipt of the box I said "where did this ship from?" I got home and opened the frame and it was bent, the end caps were missing, and there was no hardware. I know shame on me... for not inspecting everything to the fullest, but I believed Patrick. The point is if he could not do the deal then he should of been man enough to say it. Period, Instead he lied and took the low road. I called the store today on April 14, 2017 and spoke with one of his colleagues, and he stated that Patrick was in training.... I hope they are teaching integrity and honesty because he needs it! I am not saying this company is bad but when you have someone misleading customers... It...

My husband and I purchased a quality Stearns & Foster mattress from Kimberley at Mattress Warehouse. She is meticulous and thoughtful about your preferences, budget and time. She did an assessment of mine and my husband’s needs and desires and found a great compromise for the both of us. Kimberley was very responsive and engaged as we took a visit or two to commit to a mattress. Although the pricing for certain mattresses is set, Kimberley worked with us and the manager Andy to get us the best possible price (and financing) with all the pillows and foundation we needed for our sleep comfort. Once we purchased the mattress, we took delivery the next day! That process was so easy, the delivery team was conscientious about where we wanted the mattress, bed skirt, etc. We have purchased mattresses from this Mattress Warehouse location before and will absolutely do so...

Update: I did not like the mattress I chose. I tried to return assuming I would owe the return fee and any additional cost between what my original mattress cost and cost of the new mattress. I had originally purchased a mattress with a cost of $1799. At the time I received a discount of $300 plus a “free” mattress protector. I returned today to replace it and looked at a mattress of equal cost of $1799 but was told I would owe over $600 because I was no longer receiving a discount. I paid $1499 for my mattress and they want to credit 1300 because my “free” mattress protector was deducted from the price of the mattress.
