Quinn Computers — Attraction in South Charleston

Brought my pc in because it was having an issue with crashing that was very niche but fairly simple to replicate. The guy I talked to recommended upgrading some parts which I agreed to and we went ahead and ordered them and I left my pc there for them to look at. Through shipping problems and delays thr parts arrived late and I decided to take my pc back until the parts finally arrived. When I got to the store and asked about it they told me they never bothered to trouble shoot the problem to see what the issue might be and were just hoping the new parts would fix it. So my sat in their office collecting dust for a week without them opening it up at all. They tried to tell me a clean install of windows with all of 2 programs on it that being steam and Spotify had malware on it and that was causing my crashing problem. I recreated the crash in front of them 2 times after that just to prove its real and not malware. Then when the parts finally arrived I dropped my pc off on Monday afternoon thinking to pick it up the following day at around 5 or 6. They didn't finish my pc until noon Thursday and still hadn't bothered to troubleshoot anything. If you need a quick fix go anywhere else. I could've sent my pc off by mail and got it back before they'd be done with it. All told from first dropping my pc off to finishing the upgrade and getting the new pc it took 3 weeks for a job that I was initially told would only take 4 days. The staff is helpful if you're standing there with them but if you leave they just abandon your pc for days or weeks and won't even bother to try and find the problem. I came here because they had the best reviews and thought they'd be able to help me with this specific issue I was having but all they did was replace 90% of my machine which I could've done on my own. My name is Jennifer I am using my sisters account, my computer would not bring up windows, so I went and took my computer to staples to hopefully be fixed, my wedding pictures were on there I was worried, well the guy at staples called me back and said the computer was ruined and that they could send it to forensic for additional 1500 dollars but wasn’t a guarantee they said my hard drive a virus, I called Quinn spoke to them about dropping off , I went to staples picked up my computer dropped it off to Quinn on a Friday, staples destroyed my computer, I was devastated my wedding pictures, Quinn took the time called me on Monday, saved my wedding pictures, and fixed my computer which staples had said it was ruined!! I can’t say enough about Quinn technology!! I will never take my computer anywhere else!! If you have a problem with your laptop take it here before you go anywhere else!!! I took my brand new, crashed laptop in to Lou about a year ago, horrified that I lost all my .wav files. I was impressed with his professionalism - THAT made leaving the fate of my music in someone else's hands alot easier. A couple of days later I received a call that it was ready. They restored all of my files and handed me back a machine that worked ten times better. It was amazingly affordable. These guys care about the work they do and are very good at it - my laptop hasn't had the slightest hickup since. If you buy a new laptop, take my advice and let Lou and his team take all the commercial junk out and do a reinstall of Windows - they know what works and what hinders your machine's productivity.
