Ocean View Aquariums — Attraction in South Miami

Let me start this by saying that I have been to many, many other aquarium stores. None can compare to Ocean View Aquariums, NONE. The level of expertise and help you receive from the staff is phenomenal. They have knowledgeable personnel who truly understand the chemistry behind the hobby and who are more than willing to help you solve your problems. And believe me, there’s no problem they can’t solve. I’ve been going to this saltwater aquarium store for more than 3 years now and I could not, in good conscience, recommend any other place to my friends and colleagues.

The base for any successful saltwater tank is the WATER CHEMISTRY, and boy do they have it down. There are employees there who can solve nearly any chemistry issue even if they have to think outside of the box to figure it out. These guys know what they’re talking about.

This is not a cheap hobby by any means, but this store has AMAZING PRICES, lower than the competitors, along with wonderful associates who know they’re stuff. It truly means a lot to have people who work there who are ready and able to send you home with all the information you need to keep your new friends alive.

There are several other stores in the area, but if you want the BEST SERVICE and PRICES and SELECTION of FISH and CORAL, go here, you will never look back. They even have SALES, I got two Zoa frags at 2/$30 on a zoa that would’ve easily cost me $15 per polyp at other stores, let alone $15 for the whole frag. I promise you will not regret investing your time and money here. You’ll even want to thank me!

When I walk in he was laughing as and using foul language on how he was going to double charge and make a quick extra 1000 dollars from a customer that just bought an aquarium from him, just downright disrespectful, customer service is the worst and they will say anything to make a quick dollar. This is just one of the few things I have heard and recorded while at the store with my son I will No longer be going no more to OVERVIEW AQUARIUMS as STRICKLY FISH STORE UP THE ROAD HAS WON ME OVER WITH THERE 5 STAR SERVICE. AND QUALITY OF FISH AND KNOWLEDGE. They truly go above and beyond to meet your needs and ensure both you and your tank’s inhabitants are happy.

The store itself is spotless, with a beautiful selection of aquariums and a wide variety of healthy fish and corals. They also offer an impressive range of services, from delivery and installation to custom aquascaping and RO/DI setup — they do it all! Joel and Elisa were instrumental in helping me design my perfect setup, guiding me through each step, and sharing their knowledge to make sure I felt confident in caring for my new tank.
