Iām really wish zero stars was an option. There are not enough words in the English vernacular to describe the disgust of an experience that I had with this particular vendor. I had a broken camera lens on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. There was nothing else wrong with my phone. The moment the glass over the lens broke I made sure that I took it to be repaired. When I bought it there, I was told that they had received the wrong part so I was offered to leave my phone there overnight so that they can go to the warehouse and get the correct part and then replace the glass on my camera lens. I kindly opt out of that Because why would anybody leave their personal phone with anyone overnight for anything? Thereās so much identification and security issues with leaving your phone in the hands of a stranger overnight. I brought it back the next day, left it there because I was told that it would be an hour to complete and I was on my lunch break. I received a call from the worker reporting that my camera itself was damaged and that it looked blurry. I was not in agreement with that because I felt like that there was something shifty going on. I had a gut feeling that my camera was purposely manipulated. When I picked up my phone, I went home. I wasnāt satisfied and I was very uncomfortable. Something was wrong with my phone. Certain displays were gray instead of black. I usually keep my phone on dark mode because the bright screen gives me a headache. I went to Google to see if maybe there was something that I could figure out in my settings that may have been causing my dark setting to be gray so I went to my settings and found the problem immediately. I was getting notifications from my Apple phone that there was foreign objects as replacements that were used for the display as well as the camera. I immediately decided that I was going to take the phone back. I went the following day and showed it to the representative, I found out that he broke my screen and replaced it without even telling me which is why I was getting a display issue on my phone and also not being able to see the true color in my phone screen. I found that he used a non-apple camera to replace the camera. Ultimately, I ended up having to buy a brand new phone and Iām still paying on the phone he damaged. Iām so disappointed and displeased. Lessons have been learned though. Just get insurance so people canāt take...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn 10 yrs on Yelp I've written 3 reviews. 2 were good and 1 was bad. This is my 4th review and unfortunately becomes my 2nd bad one. It's fresh in my mind so I'm still pretty mad but I'm going to try to share my experience as calmly and rationally as I can. I don't like giving bad reviews because you never know if someone's just having a bad day and I hesitate to mess with peoples' livelihoods. But sometimes the experience is so bad that this concern is outweighed by the concern for saving others from having a similar experience.
On 1/18 I brought my Dell laptop in because it crashed and wouldn't turn back on. I was told three things:
They needed to run a diagnostic to assess the issue but that it was probably the motherboard.
If the motherboard needed to be fixed I would still retain everything that was saved on the computer. Nothing would be erased.
I'd get a call back the next day with an update and plan for repair.
This was the end of any semblance of a normal experience. What ensued was a combination of unparalleled incompetence and unprofessionalism for which Google reviews don't allow sufficient characters for me to go into detail on. But in a nutshell it took over a month for me to get my laptop back after dozens of desperate texts, calls, and visits to the store trying to any kinds of status updates. Gleaning information and piecing what I could together from the scraps I would receive each time. Chasing down any kind of update as to when my computer might be ready and ultimately having to threaten to report the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSCAM ALERT! Please report them to the South Orange police if they steal your memory card like how they did to me, they seem to commonly do it to people having their computer fixed. Please avoid going here at all point. They will disrespect your device. I went here to get my laptop fixed and they kept in giving me excuses on why they have to hold it longer, to the point it was there for three months. When I picked up the laptop, it is missing it's Memory card, and covers, and the cover had a crack. On top of that, the new person is so rude, he was screaming at me that I didn't brought my laptop there. I even had to get to call the cops just for them to acknowledge that they touched my laptop. They will get you all kinds of excuse, like it'd on Muhammad's warehouse, they are waiting for the parts, the person fixing it is not there. Trust me this place is DANGEROUS. They sent me to Irvington on my busy life to find my memory card because they said they contracted someone else to fix it, when I went there the guy said it's missing before it even went there. Never trust this place and be taken...
