Stayed here for a couple nights while traveling to visit the area. Communication from the office was not clear. We arrived on a weekend and wasn't told there was no one on call or what to do when arriving at the park. I did get a response via email when the phone was a bust upon arrival. We ended up pulling into the area with arrows on the fence pointing to the office. BIG MISTAKE! Not only did we end up damaging our new fifth wheel, we also damaged the park's fence trying to get ourselves out of the parking situation. This wouldn't have happened if 1) we were told before arrival what to do or received a map via email and/or 2) there were signs or personnel to guide us on where to pull in. We found out the spot we were given was occupied and ended up just picking a space and emailing the location. Next issue we encountered was having to ask a full timer to move their vehicle to allow us into the very narrow, tight space to get to our spot. Our fifth wheel is 44 feet long and though the park states we were good to go. We believe it was a bit too tight for our length but we did make it with no more incidents. Once in our space, it was TIGHT. There's not really any room to even open up your awnings and you could be next to people leaving for work at 6 am which isn't ideal when you're on vacation. The park was clean and looked nice. We did notice that the dog park doesn't get the attention daily that it should. Not all guests clean up after their dogs unfortunately. We also want to say that the park's manager, Henry was very kind about the damage, and definitely a pleasure to speak with which was appreciated. Overall if you have a large rig, we'd suggest looking elsewhere to stay. The cost to stay is very pricey for space and besides laundry and bathhouse, there arent any amenities. The park's location was convenient for our visit so we were definitely not unhappy with our stay just felt a little cramped. If you do choose this park realize you're on your own after hours or on weekends unless the park changes...
Read moreFirst off, 8 months ago we would have given this park a 2 star review ONLY because of the office manager who was employed at that time. Today, after a few weeks back at the park, we are happy to give Treasure Island RV Park a GLOWING 5 star review! The park has a wonderful new office manager, Monica, who is here on property and is very welcoming, sweet and professional.
We are commercial crab and salmon fishermen residing in the Bay Area for about 6 months every year during crab season. When we left last April, we were NEVER going to return to this park because of how we had been treated by the office manager at the time. After voicing our complaints to the property management company, they addressed our concerns and handled the situation promptly and professionally. I am so happy the property has a new office management team and they are AWESOME! Both the property manager company and the new office manager, Monica, are the primary reasons we decided to come back and give this park another try. :-)
This park has an ideal location, super clean and very well maintained. They have big spaces, nice showers and good Wi-Fi. The maintenance team, Ely and Vidal, are outstanding!! They are on site everyday taking care of every little thing the park needs. The bathrooms are very clean. The laundry room is very nice with lots of nice new machines. And now, no quarters necessary! Everything is on the wash app or wash card.
It is such a relief to have great office staff that truly care about this park and the customer service they provide. Treasure Island RV Park is a welcoming environment and the community of residents are very nice and respectful. We can now happily say we will enjoy our 6 months here, year after year.
To anyone who wrote off this RV park like we did, we highly recommend you give Treasure Island another try, you’ll be...
Read moreI Give this concrete jungle a fail on the reason of the management. I left messages that I was going to stay for a week 1 week in advance, I never got a call back on the Sunday before I arrived I called again and the people on the phone told me they were only a answering service. I pulled in Monday morning at 6:00 AM no one was at the security gate so I pulled down and parked on the road in the RV park at 9:00 AM I called the number again and still no answer. At 9:45 I drove back to the front of park and was meet by a grounds keeper, At this same time the manger of the park pulled up and said in a mean voice, are you MR -------- and I said yes, He than yelled at me telling me that this is no emergency, I said I have been waiting here for 3 hrs he than called me a liar. Than left the grounds keeper to park me. After I have left the park one week later I received a call from manger, who was in a yelling voice asked why I told the grounds keeper that I did not have a bill that was settled, I told him I did not talk to the keeper today, He than called me a liar again, and I hung up the phone on him. He than called back and I told him If he could not talk to me respectfully than I would not speak with him. He than said you Mother fu##er I will talk to you any way i want, if you dont pay your ballance than i will Fu##ing send the cops to find you. I than Hung up the phone and called the number back and asked to talk to the owner of the park the lady did not have a number or name for owner of park. I Payed $350.00 in advance for one week stay, the highest ever in my travels over the past few years, to be...
