I've been going to this place for a few years now and Have really enjoyed it. The hibachi is a nice selection, their sushi is some of the best in the local buffets and the buffet items are pretty good. I mainly go for the Hibachi and Sushi. Unfortuantly I am forced to no longer dine here as I fear for my health in this establishment. As is customary the waitress comes and takes your dirty dishes and offers to "refill" your cup. To begin with, this is a bit questonable because, they take your cup, straw and all... Other peoples saliva is being placed into the drink fountain, straws banging up against the dispenser seems very unsanitory. Well a couple trips ago I'm drinking my re-filled lemonade and a seed sticks in my straw... Where did a seed come from.. The waitress says its from the 'lemonade'... The lemonade that is made by Trapicana and is coming out of the soda fountain... Why are you lying to me? Get me a new cup I am disgusted I AM DRINKING FROM A STRANGERS CUP!!! I tell management and they assure me it wont happen... My last trip, and I do mean LAST trip the waitress offers to refill our cups taking them, straws and all, (one blue, one clear) and on the way to the fountain stops at another table and picks up another patrons cup (blue) I watch her through the entire process. She sticks the cups under the fountain and brings them back... Gives the other patron a CLEAR cup and my table two Blue cups... I have OBVIOUSLY been given another STRANGERS cup and they mine... DISGUSTING, UNHEALTY, UNSANITARY and psossibly DEADLY. The Allentown area has had more than one case of Hepatits C (Remeber Chillies in Whitehall was shut down over an incident of infecting patrons)... Why on Earth is it worth your patrons health and lives to possibly give them contanimated drinking cups. If I had not been paying attention I would have been wrapping my lips around straw that a person I do not know was slurping from... A cup that their backwash is now mixed into my beverage.. i feel ill just thinking about it. But then the real worst part of it is that again I go to Management and they LIE to me. Swear to me that they do not do this, it is not what they do. They give new cup everytime... THEN WHY IS THERE A STRAW IN MY CUP!!! As much I have enjoyed this buffet It is most definatly not worth risking my...
Read moreThere aren't many Chinese buffet restaurants in the Lehigh valley and that is for good reason because most of them were just make a buck. Quality of the food was horrible. High turnover rate in staff. Basically the place would be in business and out of business within a year, gourmet buffet and grill in dorneyville Pennsylvania as located about a half a mile. And the food here is actually really good. I mean I've had takeout Chinese on the same level and if I find a takeout Chinese place that serves as good a quality as this buffet does, I'm usually happy with it and I stick with it, prices. Very obviously the lunch time price is a little more affordable than the evening and adult buffet as of October 31st. 2023 is 14.99 per person. Plus $2 for all. You can drink soft drinks. The selection is pretty impressive. Not only do they have American ice Chinese food, they have American favorites for kids that are in the Chinese food. They have sushi. They have a Mongolian barbecue. The staff is extremely friendly. They bend over backwards and go out of their way to help you. I have never seen an item on the buffet that has been their past its time somebody's always there checking, stirring and refilling. Obviously the biggest items to go are normally the shrimp, the crab legs and the general so chicken and they keep those plentiful. The other one egg rolls are always fresh. Wonton soup is very good. A little too hot you know and I mean from a heat perspective, not a spice perspective. So be careful as it will take some time to cool down in order for it to be edible. But otherwise I think you'll really like this place again. Write down the street from dorney Park and wild water Kingdom. There's a couple hotels in the area, so if you're staying at the Howard Johnson or the Sheridan or others, you are literally technically within walking distance. But being that it's located on a pretty busy thoroughfare, you're better off getting in your car and coming down. When you enter into the strip mall that it's located in. It's on the left hand side. You'll see parking to your left and it sits right next door. Believe it or not to Pizza Hut so anyways I...
Read moreI DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PLACE. The Waitress Suki was extremely rude to me and my boyfriend. She gave us the check and was watching us and she didnât really acknowledge us during the service. And when we were ready to tip we tipped the cooks since they actually prepared our food while she didnât do anything. So we didnât tip her as we tipped the cooks $10 and if it was a big deal the cook can split the tip as well even though that isnât fair to them. And when we paid my boyfriend wrote the tip and signed it and she was watching us and came over and immediately after it and she was watching him as he wrote it. Immediately after he finished she came over and took it and looked right away at it seeing the $0. Started being rude and yelled at my boyfriend snatching stuff out of his hand. Then went around pointing and laughing at us with other waitress. And when we saw that we went up to the manager to complain and he wasnât very helpful either she came up and when we said that was very rude how she acted she started laughing in our face. We asked for something back like $10 or free food voucher. But nothing she lied to the manager saying she didnât do that when she did. And then we went on explaining more to the manager she told the other waitresses to come over as they were watching and laughing. The manager said he canât do anything because she told him not to it was stupid then he said we can call the cops on her we said no we just want a refund then he kept saying to call cops we said not and just left. Moral of the story...
