Soo much about this place I have no clue where to start 2 things that for sure are good-employees are very nice and the sweet potatoes battered fries are amazing (in the restaurant inside the hotel) Do not order the pepper jack cheese as they will serve you ghost pepper jack. Also if you are allergic to nuts ask then to be cautious. They offered me a dessert for my birthday and it has walnuts or pecans in the brownie that was covered with ice cream and hot fudge and whip topping. The hotel is very dated and it clearly shows in the rooms. Rooms are spacious, but our 2 rooms had a moldy, mildew smell. Again, obviously old. We had air purifiers, so that helped a little. Our room, unfortunately, was above the maintenance room, and at 8 am, every morning, something kicked on and loudly startled us awake. Couldn't get used to it. It's terrifying loud. Pool tables are very, very worn, and they need to replace the felt and pool sticks, BUT are free to play, so hard to complain fully about that. A huge concern is local people using the pool with kids running around the pool constantly. Adult guests smoking in the pool area. There are signs all over that say hotel guests only. Local kids running through the hall, coming in the emergency exit that clearly wasn't locked. Which is a major concern for theft as people leave their things on tables and swim or shoot darts and pool. There are also kids scootering thru the parking lot and biking. The town really needs to figure something out for the kids to do. Overall, I would stay again. No bugs

What a beautiful facility!!! We were fortunate to score 2 rooms here for the night before PanMass. The folks at the front desk could not have been more pleasant and friendly. Check in (and out the next morning) was super fast and easy! Our rooms were adjoining (which was perfect for our needs) the beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean (bathroom could have used a dusting behind doors etc) Toiletries were provided (nice ones!) AC worked well and wasn't too loud. Our 3rd floor room overlooked the courtyard (which was beautiful!) but the noise from people in it made it's way to our room pretty loudly. (Curtains drawn over windows too) 2 on sight restaurants- very limited hours of operation...but we had dinner Friday night and it was delicious and very reasonable. Breakfast in the other ("pricey" for breakfast- but an all you can eat buffet- that was also delicious! Great selection of items and all were served nicely. Fresh fruit was particularly tasty- and the cheese blintzes were a yummy surprise! Worth the money when all was said n done) Love seeing old buildings living on - this had been an optical company. The building has been transformed into a truly lovely hotel and conference space. Grounds are beautiful (area getting there not so much)

We stayed here because we were taking our daughter to College and when searching From Singapore it seemed the best option considering many other hotels were already fully booked. The buffet breakfasts are nice. The serving sizes are massive so be sure to show up with an empty stomach. The breakfast buffet area was always empty but the seating area is comfy. We sat next to the window most days to see the view. The wait staff were always very friendly. We liked eating dinners at the hotel restaurant called Shades. They have the best chicken wings!!!! And very friendly wait staff too. Loved having conversations with them. The reception staff were friendly too with exception to one lady who was on the rude side and I'd say she has a lot to learn about customer service. I expected better hospitality considering our long stay at the hotel. The location is not great if you don't have a car. Ordering an Uber or a Lyft is like winning the lottery once our request was finally accepted by An Uber driver. Be prepared to order a Southbridge local taxi that charges more than 60% of what an Uber charges. On the positive side, the hotel is close to the down town area so we were able to take a lovely stroll to see the small town charm.

I personally was not happy with my stay. It took a while to order drinks even though it was pretty empty. But then the fire alarm went off and we had to wait outside in the cold, but this is all understandable and the staff was friendly so it made up for it. Then we went back up to our room and really looked around and saw a box left around from the previous people so they much not have cleaned to well but accidents happen and the chair was covering it a bit. Lastly, with and open mind still, we went down to the pool which was the whole reason we stayed there. We got in the hot tub and kids just jumped in which is unsafe as much as it’s annoying. The hot tub alone was very dangerous since the lining was not very safe it was sharp and gritty. Again we moved on to try and go into the pool but saw bread floating it and diapers right out side it. We couldn’t even get the courage to go in it at that point. The next day at breakfasts we were greeted by more diapers. I understand this could be the guest not knowing how to act in public but they should be a tad more diligent on what’s going on.
