Savvy Sliders — Restaurant in Oak Park

Bright, clean, 15' high ceilings, spacious. Light gray tile, medium brown tables & counters add to the inviting air of the place. Also in need of some sound-absorbing material and a bit less volume on the music. It is fairly loud in here considering there is only one other customer at the moment. The food is great. The quantity, the quality, the temperature. I got a Duo Switchup Combo with Cajun fries & a chocolate shake (a $2.99 upcharge from the regular drink). The fries are tasty. Hot, appropriately seasoned and plenty for a lunch. The sliders, one falafel, one fish, were a good size and very flavorful. Honestly, among the best fast-food I've ever had. The custard shake was the only gustatory letdown. I was expecting consistency more like Culver's custard but got what in reality is just a slightly upgraded Wendy's Frosty in a bigger glass (16 oz). So far I have been to three locations and each location the service, the attitude, of the workers is the worst. This location the Associates tell you, if you didn't request no ice they not remaking it. I don't recall anybody ever saying fill the cup with ice to begin with. The Van Dyke location in Detroit. That location you make your own drink. When I told them it was out and it was carbonation only, they refused to change it and judging by the dirtiness of the location it became quite clear to me they just don't care. I literally asked the guy do you not care about your customers. I don't know why the response was shocking, but it was, because his answer was NO!. I learned long time ago you just don't take food at dirty locations. Customer service was horrible. I ordered through the drive-through. The guy gave my drink to the car in front of me then tried to give it to me the open shake when I said that what did you give my drink to the car in front of me he got an attitude and goes. I got it right back. She didn’t touch it or anything. I said that’s not the point And then he gave me attitude goes. What do you want me to remake it I said yes I want you to remake it.
