I have less than 30 minutes to eat lunch, like most people. I came in and put my whole order into the little tablet thing, logged in for the reward points, I was just about to pay and a guy behind the counter said "I can take your order". "Is there something wrong with the tablet?" I asked. "I can take your order over here" he said again. I asked what I'm supposed to do with the tablet now if he's supposed to take my order, and he told me to clear it. I went to the counter and repeated my order to him, which he read back to me completely incorrectly 3 times. Once he finally got it right (it was literally just 1 Doritos taco supreme and a crunch wrap), I asked him why I couldn't have just used the tablet. "Oh you could've," he said. "I can just cancel this and you can use the tablet if you want." Over a third of my lunch break has now been used up just ORDERING. Not the first dumb thing to happen here but definitely the...
Read moreToday I went to the location on Greenfield Road near 9 mile all the doors were closed and locked to the inside, a young man came to the door to tell me that the inside was closed and I was told to go to the drive-in (very inconvenient), once I got to the drive-in window I asked the young lady that was serving us why the doors were locked she stated the doors are not locked we're waiting on people inside... I asked why were they locked when I approach the doors, she ignored me and would not give me any explanation. She had a very bad attitude and needs to be trained how to respond to customers and not to ignore them! I became hooked by her response and snatched my credit card out of her hand... Her response was: you dont have to snatch! My respond: you don't have to get smart and ignore my question! I was fine with being inconvenient until I got to the window. Whatever happen to smiling, apologies,...
Read moreI’ve avoided this Taco Bell for a few years, but stopped in recently when the nearby Ferndale location was closed. I don’t think the staff here are bad at all. They were decently polite, but something about the experience still feels cold and disconnected. I ordered through the app and the drink I chose wasn’t available, and they forgot the sauces too. It may not seem like a big deal, but little things like that add up.
What really stands out is how unchanged this place feels after years. It reminds me why I stopped coming. The issue doesn’t seem to be with the team working there. I’ve been to other Taco Bell locations and had a much better experience, so I believe it comes down to whoever owns or manages this one. It feels like the community is not valued here. That is disappointing. If someone were just passing through, this would leave the wrong impression...
