Panthorn Park — Attraction in Southington

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Panthorn Park in Southington is an absolute delight! I visited with my kids and our dog, and we had a fantastic time.

The park offers a serene fishing pond, a picturesque walking trail, and an expansive playground featuring two large play structures, swing sets, a sandbox filled with toys, and unique sound-making instruments that kept my children engaged.

For those looking to dine al fresco, there are numerous picnic areas, complete with cooking grills and benches, spaced out to offer a sense of privacy.

While dogs are restricted from the playground area, my furry companion relished the vast fields where she could run freely.

The location of the playground is great. It's kind of set back away from any busy roads so it's quiet. It's relatively large and fenced in. It's easy to spot your child but there's plenty of area and playscape to keep them busy. There's a sandbox, which I thought was pretty neat. There are pavilions in the center of the playground that provide a nice shady area with picnic benches; this is an ideal area to post up and watch the kiddos. Great park to for individuals and families. There are 3-5 fields set up for seasonal sports, basketball court, a clean updated playground for kids and a nice pond/trails area to admire nature. The park is secluded and surrounded by beautiful tall pine trees and a well maintained landscape. Currently there are 2 Porta Pot Restrooms.
