Disappointed!

I got married here in June 2022 and we were so disappointed with our experience. Our original wedding coordinator no longer works here. We were told if we purchased the chair covers to be used during the reception, the staff would cover them for us. We then found out from the new coordinator and the owner that we had to pay a separate company to put the chair covers on that we purchased. Now, I own 150 new chair covers that I never got to use. However, during our reception we watched as the staff removed the existing chair covers on their own - without assistance from an outside company. The original price for the food that was quoted to us by the first coordinator was later changed without my knowledge. The original coordinator had me sign a blank contract which the new coordinator filled in with prices that were co mpletely different and that we never discussed. I went to speak with the owner about the price differences and he repeatedly told me that he would "do me a favor" and give us the prices we were originally quoted. Its not a favor as he kept condescendingly insisting - it's what should have happened to begin with. He then called me two days before my wedding to let me know that the open bar would be closing at 11:30 and would then become a cash bar. He also told me that we were not allowed to inform our guests of this fact because they would "have too many drinks." He also began the timing on the open bar when our ceremony began rather than at the beginning of cocktail hour which is standard. He very rudely added that he called me to tell me all of this because I was "very particular." Our reception dinner service was supposed to begin at 8:30 and some guests were just getting their food at 10:30. I threw a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband here last month. I am so happy I chose this venue after visiting a few places. I chose one of the packages with an open bar option, and it was reasonably priced. Everyone raved about the food! Which I was surprised because I expected decent, as one review said the food was “typical banquet hall” food. To be 100% truthful my husband and I have been to plenty of weddings, retirement parties, etc at aquaturf style places… and this food FAR exceeded anything that I would call typical banquet hall food. Really. Both my husband and I are half Italian as well, so we are picky. Trust me, the food was really good! All of the staff including the owner were all very nice and attentive, both during the planning process and the event. Special thank you to Sarita for all of your help planning and making the day special! Also, special thank you to the three ladies on staff that night (I wish I could remember your names at the moment!). They did a fantastic job from getting things set up, to taking it down, and making sure the night was flowing seamlessly with dinner and dessert. They even helped pack up all of our bday decorations and load gifts into the car, which I was not expecting at all and was so helpful. Really, thank you ladies! You guys were great! On a final note, I was looking through all of the decor options as I was planning, which I didn’t need for my event. However, they had such cute and beautiful ideas for decor and cute themed desserts, etc for weddings and showers! Had I known of this place five years ago when we got married, I absolutely would have picked it here. 10/10...

I just co-hosted a bridal shower brunch for my future daughter-in-law at Testa’s. From the very beginning the professional and friendly staff at Testa’s took the time to give us a tour of their gorgeous facility, amenities and enhancements. When we were discussing our plan to hold a bridal shower brunch and our menu choices were shared, it was unbelievable! Testa’s provides a true brunch experience with a standard immensely generous brunch menu allowing for other personal preferences included in the package! The Royal Ballroom is exquisitely appointed with beautiful, tastefully elegant decor while also offering color choices for linens while allowing and encouraging personal touches . Our guests were impressed with everything and were very happy to now know about Testa’s! The brunch presentation was extremely appealing to look at but, as people say, “the proof is in the pudding”. Testa’s food was perfectly cooked, perfect temperature , perfectly timed to our needs and BEYOND delicious! The highly professional staff were present and always more than happy to accommodate requests in a friendly way. Enzo, the owner of Testa’s was on sight and made himself available to us throughout our event. It enhances your confidence in their commitment to personal attention. I’m still receiving lovely messages from guests regarding their experience and raving about the food and staff! I just wish Testa’s was a restaurant that I and others could enjoy on a daily basis!
