A friend and I took D Ruch's embroidery class on Saturday - and it was great. The class was perfect for beginners and as a refresher (which I sorely needed) covered the basic stitches and we each came away with a beautiful and useful needle "case" of our own manufacture. I will it make again as a gift sewing kit. D had a ton of advice and lots of giveaways! I've been inspired to take up my needle and thread again! Excited to take another of her classes later...
