We love Activate in Southlake! It's the perfect combination of fun, challenge, and exercise—and it's quickly become one of our favorite places to go. Every visit is packed with excitement, and it never gets old. We've already been four times in the past couple of months and can't wait to go back again. Each room offers something unique and engaging. "Portals" is my personal favorite room—it’s immersive, strategic, and requires constant communication. “Lasers” is amazing too, and I imagine it’d be even more fun if I were a bit younger and more agile! “Mega Grid” and “Hide” are also fantastic, and honestly, there isn't a single room we don’t enjoy. The atmosphere is energetic, the games are top-notch, and it’s a great way to be active while having a blast. The only suggestion I have is to offer season passes—because we’re hooked and would love a way to make our frequent visits a little more budget-friendly! I highly recommend Activate to anyone looking for a fun and active outing—whether it’s with family, friends, or a date night. They’ve created something really special here, and we hope they continue to thrive!

This is a high-energy and intense place that tests your quick thinking, agility, and speed. May not work well if you're color blind, but it's a lot of fun. You have 75 minutes to enter different rooms that offer mazes, basketball hoops, color floor squares, lasers, and more. Communication with your team members is very important. We had been to the location in Plano before and this was very similar. This location did not have the rock climbing walls like in Plano.

My wife, brother and I went and had an absolute BLAST!! Staff were super helpful and kind as well! Games were excellent and whomever came up with this idea deserves a high five! The value is great as well, we went on a Sunday and paid $30/each for 1hr 15min of play. Can’t argue with that! Just please make sure you dress in workout clothes because you will sweat! 😂😅🤷🏻‍♂️ Will definitely be back!

It pains me to have to write this review. But I have to rate this location 1 star. It seems like there is too much going wrong in this facility to rate it any higher. If you don’t want to read any further, I’ll summarize here that there are glaring issues with consistency of the games and issues with the staff.

I have utilized this facility multiple times, and on every occasion, there has been something not working as intended. First there was a grid failing me even though I did everything in the level. The next visit the laser was reducing lives despite playing it correctly. On a third visit a variety of buttons in different rooms were just not working at all. The one consistent trait at this location is that I expect something not to be in operation while I am there.

Second is the staff, which are often hit or miss. You either get someone that is overly eager to talk to you to the point that it feels smothering, or, the other extreme, where there are staff members intently focused on idly watching their tablets and fail to interact with clientele in the facility. While it seems counterintuitive in a struggling economy, it appears that this location has too many staff members with not enough work to spread evenly amongst the team members. There are at any given time, employees leaning up against walls, others just roaming aimlessly with nothing to do at all, and I even discovered one enterprising employee lying prone on the ground as if in a trance. It looks incredibly unprofessional on every single level.

Finally, there is one staff member that makes me feel very uncomfortable. In an environment that is supposed to be family friendly, why does someone on staff have an unavoidably visible tattoo of a fully nude and exposed woman? While I understand that people are free to express themselves, businesses must also consider the harm that the exposure will have to young children and their clients. At the minimum the employee should be asked to cover the tattoo while at work.

While I do enjoy the product at Activate when it works correctly, I feel it is better to take my business elsewhere and check back in six months to see if there is any improvement in the product...

Activate Games was an absolute blast and the perfect way to have fun for my partner's birthday!

I found booking tickets and a time slot online to be straightforward, easy, and also very reasonably priced! After using an online promo code for a slight discount, they were about $25 per person for around 60 mins of game play time.

Check-in was also quick and easy in the lobby, where they gave us wristbands to play with and we quickly set up new player accounts at the kiosks since it was our first time here.

The games are super fun and I loved the way it was set up so that you and your group have the rooms to play on your own, then if another group is trying to use the room it'll have you exit after your current game ends to allow them to enter the room.

I loved all the games here and found them to be so entertaining, challenging, and FUN!!! My personal favorites were probably the Maze and Hoops ones - so exciting to try and get to the next level while also being GREAT EXERCISE!!

It makes me very pleased to see a place such as this for young people (or anyone) to visit and have some activity and fun.

Activate Games is a great way to not only have a super fun time with family and friends, but also to get really good exercise in while at it and also engage in some mentally stimulating, challenging game play!!

I would be very happy to return to this or another Activate Games location in the future and...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My family and I recently visited Activate, and the experience was not only disappointing but downright dangerous. During one of the games, my sister suffered a severe injury after crashing into a wall that was barely visible due to poor lighting. There was no warning about the walls in the instructions, and it’s clear this was a known issue—staff admitted that others have been injured in the same spot.

To make matters worse, the staff showed zero concern or responsibility. Despite my sister bleeding profusely from a large cut on her nose, the employees just stared and said, “That looks bad.” They didn’t offer any assistance to stop the bleeding. Thankfully, there was a clinic nearby, and they helped stop the bleeding and treated her with great care. However, they had to send us to the hospital to ensure she received the proper medical attention, which included stitches for the large cut.

Adding insult to injury, when my brother went back to inform the staff, they asked for the blood-covered bracelets back so they could reuse them. This lack of basic hygiene and care is absolutely appalling.

This facility is unsafe, unprofessional, and irresponsible. It’s shocking they continue to operate with such disregard for customer safety. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I urge others to be extremely cautious if they...
