Learn moreProbably the best boba in town. Boba was the softest chewiness I’ve had compared to maybe 10 boba places around town. Flavor was really good. I ordered my usual Milk Green Tea with Boba and Coffee Jelly. Tried their chicken wings and these are more like tenders so no bone in. The chicken is perfectly battered thinly with a good crisp. The chicken meat is steamy and flaky when broken apart. The dirty seasoning is probably the winner. I did have the spicy Korean bbq sauce and the garlic Parmesan sauce. All sauce and seasonings were on the side by my request and mixing sauce and seasoning parings were great. Dirty seasoning and garlic Parmesan sauce combo was great. The bulgogi bowl was really good. The meat was like ground beef chunks but full of flavor and the charred crisp edges were a nice touch. You can tell everything is made from scratch and worth the wait. Over easy runny yolk egg is a nice touch upon request. Kimchi was a good flavor too. Definitely plan to come back. Super nice family owned place and very welcoming of feedback and seem to look forward to improving...
Read moreThe concept of this place could be fun, cute little electronic gaming tables, shelves with board games, and a unique setup. But the actual experience fell flat. • Gaming tables: Every single one was marked “reserved,” even though the restaurant was empty the entire time we were there. It felt less about reservations and more about avoiding the work of maintaining them. • Service: There’s no real service, you order through a kiosk, then pick up your food when they call you. Attentiveness and friendliness just weren’t there. • Food: Everything tasted microwaved on order, which I can easily do at home. Drinks were the highlight, though they came in non-recyclable plastic. • Atmosphere: Clutter stacked to the ceiling in one corner was a huge eyesore and felt like a safety hazard. • Bill: About $50 for two, with automatic gratuity added (though removable). Hard to justify when there was no table service.
Overall, I might stop in again just for a drink, but it’s out of the way, and between the “reserved” game tables, lack of service, and microwaved food, there’s not much...
Read moreThis place is cute, and the employees are all very friendly, but the food was disappointing. My boyfriend ordered the salmon bowl, and I ordered the tofu bowl. Both bowls were ok, but their quality and taste just weren't worth $16 each, especially since they were mostly rice. We also got one of their custom sodas (which my boyfriend loved), and I ordered a matcha latte with boba. I was really hoping their matcha would be good considering the reviews I'd seen about their drinks, but it was honestly some of the worst I've ever had. It was very pale and had a strange soapy taste, but the boba itself was very well-cooked and tasty.
I'd assume their fried chicken and other drinks are better than what we ordered considering all the great reviews, but we were disappointed with what we got. We spent $50 on two bowls and two drinks with tip, which was very high for...
