Silver State Plaza — Attraction in Sparks

Silver State Plaza is just a few blocks from my house. Very convenient. I use CVS for my monthly Rx's. Their Pharmacy is open 24 hours. While waiting I gamble in their sectioned off gaming area. Video slots. Your always offered a free beverage when you walk into that area. Great Customer service. They also have a very good selection of Wine, Beer, and Hard Liquor. Very reasonable prices on the booze. I exercise at Planet Fitness in this Strip mall. I shop at Big 5, Fallas, and The Dollar Tree. Supercuts here has some very good hairstylists. There is also a Fancy Hair &Nails, Beautiful Bella Salon, or a Sally's Beauty Supply if your a do it yourselfer. I mail all my packages through Easy Mail which is next to Ross I believe. They rent P.O.Boxes here and I've known the nice lady who works there for years. There are 2 Major Banks in the Plaza. A Wells Fargo and a Bank of America. There is a convenience store at the very end of the Plaza near CVS called Around the Corner. They carry a little of everything and have a great selection of Marijuana pipes and Bongs. They also have a variety of accoutrements you may need such as replacement parts for your rigs. For food, Silver State Plaza offers a wide variety. Wendy's, Raising Cane's, Sui Korean BBQ, Port of Subs, Little Caesars Pizza, Asian Express, and The Panaderia Azteca Mexico Bakery &Deli. All good. Several other shops I didn't mention include Farmers Insurance, Demers Family Vision, Reno Gold Buyers, CPAP & More, a Cleaners, Pet Supermarket, Shoe Dept., Sprint, Aaron's, Game stop, and a fairly new bar called The Local. With such a wide Variety and located conveniently on the corner of N. McCarran Blvd and East Prater Way in Sparks makes this Strip Mall an excellent...

Less than a quarter of a mile from West and East bound on and off ramps for I-80. This shopping centers front sits on East Prater Way and McCarran the back and side are on Howard Dr. and East Lincoln Way. This is an older shopping center and has been here awhile. Large clean parking lot.

Not far from the Sparks Marina and Western Village Casino. Victorian Avenue in Sparks is a 7 minute drive from this location. Across the street is Iron Horse Shopping Center.

This shopping center has over 155,000 square feet. Among the businesses here is SIU Korean BBQ, Ross Dress for Less, Fallas Discount Store, Dollar Tree, CVS pharmacy is 24 hour, Radio Shack, Game Stop, Wendy's, Sinbad's Hot Dogs and many other shops. There are restaurants, sporting goods, exercise, banks, pets supplies, Salon Supplies etc.

As the area is slowly being overtaken by low quality apartments the shopping centers are following suit, stores are now in a state of disrepair, vagrants and homeless line the public areas and the parking lot is getting sloped and the asphalt is worn and broken, some of the older stores haven't changed much on the outside but you see a drastic drop in quality and quantity on the inside, with empty stores interspersed between them, however the ones that remain do seem to be holding their own so maybe the center will clean up and may eventually feel safe and productive some time in...
