Pizza Plus - Prater — Restaurant in Sparks

I have been a long time customer of Pizza Plus. That is my go to place for pizza and before that it was my parent’s favorite place. Today, I was sadden to have experience such bad service from this establishment. I came in with my children and family from California. We waited for an hour for our food. When we asked about our food. One manager apologized and gave us $60 refund and asked to wait 20 minutes. We go back to our table and we’re laughing and having a good time. After 15-20 minutes passed, a young girl came with the first pizza, and with very nasty attitude said, “you still want your food right?” Which we responded yes, why wouldn’t we? She then said “ well you are just staring at me.” We then said “excuse you?” We let it go to avoid conflict. The manager with blond hair then came with the rest of the food and stated , “ if we ever were disrespectful to her employees again, we would no longer be welcomed.” To which we responded, “excuse us, how were we rude?” She then said “ you guys were laughing at her”. We were all confused and felt disrespected so we got up and asked for a refund. When I tried to tell the manager that we have been long time customers and never had issues. The manager with blond hair proceeded to mock us and made a hand gesture of making fun of us. We have a child with autism and language difficulties and her doing this broke my heart and made us so upset. The young lady is probably her first job but she has to understand that is no way in shape or form good customer service. The world does not revolve around her and we were never laughing at her. As to the manager, I don’t know how she has the position. As a grown women, that is no way to treat any human. She acted like a teenager and kept laughing...

Update: We used to be big fans of Pizza Plus, and the Prater location was always the one we told people to go to. Not anymore. It has gone downhill since the remodel. Pizza has been just ok and the wings have been hit or miss... Sometimes they are good, others, they are uneatable. Tonight, they were so overcooked it was like eating chicken jerky with hardly any sauce at all. We threw half the order away. Fries were cold, too. Ranch was the only good thing.

Be careful when you order, too. Discovered tonight that twice now they have charged me full menu price for individual items instead of the combo special price. The first time I just took it as the inflation crisis and everything costs more. But, tonight I saw that a combo #1 is $35.99 on their menu but I was again charged $50, because they entered it as individual items instead of a combo. Will be calling the corporate office on Monday about that.

We have had issues with the Prater location in the past, but they always made up for it, so we kept coming back. Customer service is HUGE to me, so I will excuse issues with the food if the service is exceptional. Sadly, won't be going back now... Tired of there always being something wrong with the food, and the service is not what...

I don't know what's happening here lately but quality is really sinking. Went in and ordered takeout last night. Got my usual combo #7, a half and half (combo and pepperoni) they literally threw a handful of toppings on the pizza, and the "combo" half was 3 pieces of a pile of bell pepper onion olives and meat. It was sliced so some pieces were as skinny as two fingers and one piece was so big, it was ridiculous. Got a box of fries, no fried veggies (which is the whole reason I get the #7) and I ordered buffalo sauce for my fingers to be on the side and it was forgotten. When I tried to call there was no answer so I sent them an email but of course, no reply. Lately I've noticed their bone in wings are so dry and barley even have any meat, most times it looks like they just throw a ladle full of sauce right on top and don't even toss them so half aren't even covered in sauce. And the sausage and pepperoni lately seems old? I usually order about every 3 weeks and this is the third time I had problems. For $50 plus a tip I don't feel like it's worth it anymore. Sad, probably going to just go to mountain mikes or round table from here on out. Just...
