I realized that the anxious truth about my situation was that i just needed to give in and go to the doctor, because I wasn't getting any better and it had already been three weeks, so I went online and to my surprise you can schedule appts online now without even talking to a person, which for me is wonderful because I don't do well talking to people my anxiety goes through the roof, I get nervous, I studder, I forget what I'm trying to say or what I should say and it's just all bad, so online scheduling was perfect for me. They send you a link to do all your paperwork at home before your appt if you so choose to, they are friendly, judgement free, fast, clean, and overall a happy healthy wanted cared about environment and staff 1000 percent. It eases my anxiety a little bit knowing I'll be happily greeted and cared for and in a timely manner as well. Of course their facility is very well kept up on too, and one last thing I forgot to mention I absolutely love the always stalked up snacks and drinks station as well definitely my favorite part of visiting them, I always try to get at least one drink and one snack for each of my four kids wether they are all with me or not because you can't get one unless you get all four haha, and myself one as well because moms need a snack too. Lol. I definitely recommend everything about the cleanliness of the facility, the location, the entire staff from front desk secretary, nurses, providers, lab techs, xray techs, to everyone in between, the timely manner of operations and of seeing patients, to the snack station, and everything in between as well. It's always a great visit. Thank you for all you do indigo...
Read moreI brought my 3 year old in after she packed scrambled egg in her ear. I had to fill out some paperwork on my phone and while we waited we were offered water, juice, and a snack (which is always super nice with a toddler) but then went above and beyond by preparing my daughter hot cocoa so I could focus on filling out the forms. They chatted with her on and off showing her respect and allowing her the independence to speak for her self. The nurses and doctor allowed her to feel safe and comfortable enough to ask questions, relax on the bed, and even try to use the "big girl potty" there, just by making a genuine human connection with her. All of that on top of helping me identify what I did well in terms of immediate care at home and what would be better next time, without talking down to me or treating me like I was incompetent. Most importantly, they safely and comfortably got the remaining chunk of egg out of my daughter's ear. They were so gentle, competent, compassionate, and informative towards my toddler. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. I am incredibly grateful and appreciative of every person we spoke with there, for mine and my daughter's experience (especially, considering the screaming and tears on our way there because my daughter did not want to see the doctor and was very afraid because she "doesn't want it to be like Doctor Bluey since she kept only giving Telemachus shots when Telemachus said stop because that's not nice and it hurts a lot.") So, to every person there- thank you with my...
Read moreWe had a frustrating experience at Multicare Urgent Care due to serious staffing and process issues. We understand that emergencies happen, but sending a patient to the ER shouldn't completely derail urgent care services for hours. There needs to be a proper triage system to assess whether a walk-in case is an urgent care matter or a true emergency. Instead, patients are told to leave and return hours later (for us, it was 2 hours) without even being evaluatedâonly to come back at the stated time, wait another 30 minutes, and then be referred to a different clinic across town (20 minutes away); that resulted in another hour wait.
Healthcare businesses are still businesses, and this is simply bad business. Itâs surprising given the mostly positive reviews, but maybe thatâs because frustrated patients just walked away instead of leaving feedback.
While the clinics are clean, accessible, and have shared systems, the inefficiencies and lack of proper triage create unacceptable delays in care. Urgent care should streamline medical decisionsânot create unnecessary obstacles for patients in need.
If you can't see a patient promptly, at least triage them, direct them to another urgent care or emergency room, or provide a realistic wait time. Walk-ins and appointments only work if staffing ratios support themâat minimum, there should be double the medical teams to manage both...
