I really wish I could leave zero stars. Let me start this by saying that I picked up a DoorDash order from this location for a customer so I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but I would imagine it was poor.
When I arrived to pick up the order I was assigned, I let the employee at the counter know who I was there for, they stated that it was not ready yet. That’s no big deal, I get it, it’s a Friday night during the dinner rush. The problem is the order was in fact ready the whole time and was not given to me until after it had been sitting there for 15+ minutes (that’s how long I was waiting). When I said “it’s been ready the whole time” a male employee responded with “yeah, my bad gangsta” I also observed a female employee rolling her eyes and being excessively rude to the customers that were in the store as if they were inconveniencing her by ordering food. This is not the only location that Hooptown Wings LLC owns and all of them except the Newport Hwy location in North Spokane have absolutely terrible customer service. I’m sure this is due to low wages equal low quality employees, but being spoken to as if I was a dope dealer on a corner is infuriating. What is wrong with these people to think their actions are ok in a work environment. I sincerely hope that the owner of these stores starts investing in some development training to teach these employees actual customer service skills. We called in first, asked about some menu items and the workers didn't know certain answers and told us to look online. The whole point of us calling is to get fast answers, not to be told to look online. Employees must know simple menu answers apon customers requests.
When we got there the place looked decent on the outside but once we got inside it seemed as if it hasn't been cleaned or mopped in months, dust and grease all over the floors. Once we got up to the counter, we saw that thier work space was very unsanitary, fries all over the floor, ketchup packets as well.
The workers there also seemed to act as if they didn't want to be there, even commented that "it must be nice to be on the other side of the counter" when they spoke to my son in-law. Half of the wings we got seemed old and dry, as If someone threw them back into the oil to reheat them for a couple minutes. BIG point is that Wingstop doesn't lable any of the wings. It is left up to the customer to figure out what wings are which flavor. Very inconvenient especially if you are feeding a big group that ordered different flavors..
Overall doesn't seem like the crew there has it together, doesn't keep the place clean and don't have very good work ethic. Makes me loose intrest in wanting to return to this restaurant. I hope they work on leveling...
Read moreEthan (one of two employee on staff tonight) was unaccompanied after ordering through the Wingstop website and selecting delivery. The team did not supply the fries that were ordered and when I called I to correct, told me that they were out. I waited 67 minutes for the delivery leaving them enough time to contact me to let me know that they were out. He attempted to blame on door dash (bag was sealed with stickers). I got frustrated and he hung up. This is not about the fries… what this is about is that I called back and someone else answered to where I could hear their conversation where he (Ethan) was disparaging me a patron and talking what I’ll call smack about how and what he would do, joking all the way. I hope that the owner sees this and understand that this is what you are paying for. A rude, disrespectful, non-problem solving employee who will and has now cost you future business. Your establishment will never see me again and as the saying goes “when you do well for a customer, they will tell one person. When you treat them poorly or provide a terrible experience they will tell 10 people”.
