Angie's Salon — Attraction in Spring Valley

This was my first time patronizing Angie’s Salon. I chose this business based on their reviews. When I called they picked up right away and I spoke to Jocelyn. I made an appt for my Niece for a wash, deep conditioning treatment and blowout. This was also my nieces first time in a Beauty Salon. When we entered the business the first impression was like being in a presidential palace. There were the most beautiful chandeliers hanging I have ever seen. The place was immaculate. It smelled of fresh linen not harsh chemicals and we were greeted by all of the staff and made to feel important. There was nice music playing and the furniture and beautician stations were all modern and looked very expensive and comfortable. While my niece was being attended to, I watched and couldn’t stop looking around at all of the nice things hanging from the walls and everyone seemed to be very happy to be there. The beauticians all had smiles on their faces and engaging with customers. Me being a man, was quite impressed. The owner was super nice and engaging. It almost felt like when men go into the neighborhood barber shop just to hang out and have fun and talk about life. After my niece was finished she looked amazing, a literal transformation and she was the happiest 10 year old ever. The staff complimented on how beautiful she is and even more so with her new “doo” so I would highly recommend Angie’s even if just to stop by for a look. I got a haircut here for the first time yesterday and I am in love with the results. Not only is the salon beautiful but the girls there are amazing to be around. I had my hair cut by Angie and she was amazing. She answered all questions I had and made me feel comfortable as I have never been in a salon before. I have a crazy amount of damage to my hair from years of bleaching, dying, heat styling, and cutting it myself at home. My hair was so bad that when I brushed it, chunks would break off in the middle and when I washed it, my hair would stretch and break off. I had a good amount of hair cut off but Angie made it look so beautiful and kept as much length as possible while still taking off the parts that were crispy. I found this salon via Google and after reading the reviews about Jeff “D” hairstylist. My mind was set to come here and try it. I left my hairstylist of ten years in Colorado and after moving here in Las Vegas. I still haven’t found the “one”. The salon first of all was very clean, organized and well kept. I was introduced by the owner Angie who greeted me at the door to Jeff. He shook my hand and started asking what would I like to do with my long hair? Jeff was detailed oriented. He cut my hair wet and dry and when he did this, I knew he was the “one” lol. Kidding aside, I can actually say my hair finally found a home. I highly recommend this salon especially Jeff.
