My first experience buying furniture, and it has been terrible. When we received our furniture we noticed there was a tear in one of the sofas (on the same day we received it). So we immediatley called Cleo's and let them know that our sofa had a tear in it. They asked us to email them pictures and so we did. A month went by and we heard nothing. So we call them back and they tell us "oh we never got your email." Well, I had sent my email with a "read" receipt, and I had gotten the "read" receipt once it was opened, so obviously they got my email and they just chose to ignore it. So I re forwarded them the email and they tell us "well you will have to bring your furniture up here for us to repair it." We told them that it wasn't fair to us to have to PAY someone to bring the furniture up there for them to fix it when we had received it torn in the first place. They should have caught the tear during the "quality check" before they sent the furniture out to us. We felt like they needed to come and pick up the furniture and fix it. The guy we spoke to said "oh okay well let me talk to my manager and then we'll get back to you in a few days." Another month goes buy.. still nothing. So we call again and this time they say "Oh okay we will send someone out there to repair it. He should call you when he is in that area." We waited another 2 weeks and FINALLY got a call from someone, but by that time we were so fed up we were ready to return the furniture. We bought our furniture in February. Its June. Our furniture is financed through Acceptance Now, and after we had finally had enough of Cleo's, we called Acceptance Now and told them that we wanted to return the furniture because we were tired of dealing with Cleo's and their poor customer service. Alex at Acceptance Now was very sympathetic and now we are finally getting somewhere thanks to him and Acceptance Now's EXCELLENT customer service. If it were not for Acceptance Now making it right, we would have returned our furniture. Cleo's has done nothing to help us at all. The repairs that are being made are on Acceptance Now's dime.
