Creative Audio — Attraction in Springfield

Don’t waste your time here and go to the bought over Glenstone location that use to be Car Fi instead. It’s the same company just better customer service and caring work.

Starting on a positive note, Seth here is great he was the only redeeming quality to going here. The best interaction we had was leaving, talking to Seth bringing us out the car and the small talk in between.

We sadly had a poor experience working with Juan. Enough to detour our business from this location. Unfortunately, Creative Audio pretty much has a monopoly in Springfield, looking for Car Fi on Glenstone only to learn they had been joined with Creative. Juan was not friendly or communicative. Asking him questions seemed like a hassle to explain and what he did explain was condescending, as if we didn’t go to them as supposed to be professionals.

Yesterday one of the subs in our Lamborghini Gallardo blew. My fiance went directly to Creative Audio on sunshine and spoke with Chad. He showed him the problem and equipment we currently had, explained he wanted JL subs. When Chad tried to up sell the alpine subs, he explained he went there specifically for the JLs. Chad looked everything over desired subs, amp, and system agreed it all would be good so we scheduled for the next morning. Today we dropped off our vehicle for a seemingly simple sub swap, 30 minutes later we get a call just to be told the amp won’t work with the picked out subs and they are installing Alpine subs instead. I requested they stop the work until we were able to come back to the vehicle to discuss what the complications there were since those subs were not what was discussed or desired. We specifically came for JL subs and didn’t want others, especially after being told they would work the day before.

Here is where interaction means everything and Juan had nothing good to offer. We came in fully prepared to purchase an amp to accommodate the JL subs he wanted. However having questions about the logistics on why it wouldn’t work was nearly unimaginable to Juan and borderline a hassle to answer. When we asked why Chad looked over and assisted yesterday and said it was all good but today dealing with Juan it wasn’t, answered by a chuckle, a smirk, and arrogant tone “Chad didn’t tell you that”. If he wouldn’t have said it would work the day before, we would have made sure to have the amp picked out to be included on install saving everyone this disappointing exchange. It became useless to go back and forth getting nothing but pointed numbers on his phone as a sad excuse to explain why it wouldn’t work.

Thankfully I was able to call their Glenstone location and the team there was able to install the JL subs to the original amp seamlessly, with zero issue and it sounds incredible.

Ironically and thankfully this bad experience saved us from buying an amp, we didn’t actually need.

Pretty disappointed...... I called to make an appointment and when I showed up to my appointment (they then asked "oh you mean your vehicle already has a tent on it?" I clearly told the gentleman on the phone while making the appointment that it had previously been tented and wasn't dark enough for what I wanted at another location. They then proceeded to tell me that it's going to be another $150 to remove the tent and clean the windows before they could start to apply the new tent and it would take a total of 5 to 6 hours!!!! I am a business owner myself and if I failed to provide the information over the phone before a customer drove a 2 1/2 hours round-trip to their appointment, that would clearly be my fault and something that I would have to eat financially as a business owner. I would never in a million years tell the customer ....."oh sorry I didn't tell you before you drove 2 1/2 hours to your appt , but instead of a 2 hour appointment you're looking at a 6 hour appointment and instead of a $240 service you're looking at a $400 service

This is exactly why the mortar and brick businesses are failing and going out of business daily in this country! What happened to the days of taking care of your customer and taking responsibility for a person's own actions ??????

I'm pretty much under the impression that they don't need customers that bad!!! so before making a drive to creative car audio in Springfield be sure to ask every detail and not rely on there employees tell you anything upfront on their own! They will not do it and will not make anything right for the customer due to their own mistakes

Sorry creative car audio ..........I will for sure take my business elsewhere AND CONGRATULATIONS on being SO busy that you DONT need any more customers and DONT need GOOD recommendations from your customers! Pretty sorry business standards in my opinion! Guess there's a reason after all this business has 3.6...

FIVE STARS on customer satisfaction, product and pricing!!! Creative Audio was by far the BEST company that we worked with while building our house and we worked with numerous different companies/trades. From Sales to Installers at Creative they are experts, customer oriented, competitively priced and perfectionist. Prior to deciding to go with Creative we met with a few companies to mount our TVs, setup surround sound and boost WiFi signals. We chose Creative because we felt that Corey didn’t oversell and he knew the low voltage wiring/products more than anyone else that crossed our path. Corey and his team did not disappoint! They instinctively worked directly with our builder which helped us immensely and took a lot of stress off us too. Their expertise and truly caring mentality helped avoid a few disasters before they happened…they found wiring that our electricians missed during the rough-in, found solutions to our last minute “asks” during install by making a trip to Lowe’s for brackets and they even helped the cable company when they came out to hookup the cable. These are things they didn’t have to do or bring up and doubtful any other company would have. We are very thankful for everyone at Creative for helping us through the entire build and making sure the setup turned out perfect. The 3 TV’s and soundbars are mounted perfectly on the stone/walls, the theater setup is amazing and we have zero low/dead internet spots.

After the build, we used Creative again to mount a very large chalkboard and again to install a car speaker. Again, beyond happy with their work and...
