If I could give you 0 stars, I would. I have worked in a sonic in high school.... but come on... I went in at 9:40 and waited 5 minutes for someone to answer the drive thru because they were more worried about cleaning the floors, it seems and leaving (they close at 11) than anything else... ordered 2 DRINKS..ONLY 2 AND TIPPED TO GET A "STRAWBERRY LIMEMAID WITH STRAWBERRY SEEDS AND SPRITE, and ordered something for my Elementary aged daughter because she has been sick... and wanted just a flavored water, so I got her one... WHAT A JOKE IF THEY DIDN'T PUT HALF A BOTTLE OF FLAVORING IN HER DRINK.... and she ended up saying her stomach was feeling gross and she got a weird taste from her drink... I had her hand it back, and when I got home, I looked at it... she got a blue coconut water... not ocean water, just a flavored water... it was almost purple from all the flavoring they added it even left dye spots in the straw... she went to bed with a stomach ache because she was really thirsty and took a big drink... sadly, by the time I got home, I looked at mine... it wasn't full, barely any ice. To this sonic supervisor... it seems your crew would rather do their own thing and do things the lazy way than work. I Will Not Be Back I read the other reviews... sad I wouldn't care so much about drinks if it hadn't soured my daughters stomach... like seriously.... And let me tell you I’m not a Karen, I work as a cook in a restaurant so I know what it is like but ALL OF THE FOOD WAS COLD. Ordered a coffee and that was cold too! At the time, after waiting 20 minutes when I was there, I only realized that my totes were cold, so I pressed the red button, and only asked for new totes not realizing everything else was not hot, NOT EVEN WARM. Like they made the food and let it sit up there for 20 minutes. The guy said it would be 5 more minutes for fresh totes when I have been there for 25 minutes so I said that is fine, I’ll wait 30 minutes for $15 dollars worth of food. I was on the phone with my partner and they advised to check everything before I left. ALL THE FOOD WAS COLD AND SO WAS THE COFFEE. My partner is already mad so they called, and the manger on duty said that I could not get a refund, that I would have to wait 10 minutes for a new coffee. And get this the manger said that they only make coffee at 6am and don’t make new batches until the pot runs out, so for you folks that drink coffee all day just so you know if you order Sonics coffee then you are drinking 12 hour old coffee, lol if that flew at my job we would be fired. Read moreSonic is usually my favorite fast food. If I could, I would buy a cherry limeade and mozzarella sticks every day. However, since the new location opened, the service has went downhill. I'm pretty sure all new employees were hired because I don't recognize them. The old employees were so much nicer and had such positive attitudes. A couple years ago I called their corporate office to give a positive review. I will call corporate in regards to this review as well. But the old location was short on staff for a long time, and they were always so friendly and they brought orders out so fast, never had my order wrong, even most of the time they were busy. Service then was exceptional! I cannot say the same now for the new location. Service is so slow and the employees are not nice, aside from one employee. She is super nice every time and apologizes for the wait every time. She is a young black girl that works in the evenings. But unfortunately, that does not make me a happy customer. I tried going through the drive thru the last 3 times I was there, thinking I would get my order quicker. That did not make any difference. Two of those times I was the only car in drive thru, once there was one car ahead of me. Service is ridiculously slow and customer service is not great. Fix the issues!
