I stayed at the Marriott this past week for a work trip. The hotel itself is nice. My room was clean and had a nice view of the river. My only complaints were the parking garage (Tokyo drift anyone) and the fact that it took a solid 15+ minutes for the water in the shower to even start warming up. I love that they have signs to promote eco-friendly with reusing your towels, but if you don't want an ice shower every morning, you're wasting SO much water while waiting for it to reach even a tolerable temperature. There was an issue with my final statement that I caught after I got home, where I was charged double for parking each day I was there. However, when I called, they apologized and immediately fixed it. Just make sure if you're booking with a company that has negotiated rates that you're not being charged the regular $20/day plus the lower rate.

Well we’ll well! This is the nicest hotel in the city! The whole building was completely renovated from the lobby up. We took our time when booking in the city due to many people complaining about how bad some hotels operate and the quality. I can tell you this place is on point. Every staff interaction was excellent always kind and welcoming. Helped us check in early and gave us advice on where to eat and go. The lobby smelled very good with a fragrance in the air with a beautiful bar just feet from the entrance. The elevator takes you right to your room which all hallways are very clean and new. You walk into your room and you can tell it’s new the bedding is fresh and soft. The bathroom as modern as it can get with a large TV and mini bar with fridge and Starbucks coffee ready to be made. They made our stay safe and easy. Thanks again

The hotel facility is nice, but unfortunately it is ruined by the lack of service and hospitality by the staff (especially on the weekends). My company books the stay at this hotel and I have had to stay here a few times. Given the choice I would book somewhere else. During one stay, the room was very cold. After being unable to increase the temperature and calling maintenance, a front desk member came to the room and said that the temperature "could take up to 6 hours to warm up". Eventually I had to request another room that was warmer. The "M Club" lounge is always unkept on the weekends (dirty dishes/counters, broken coffee machine, unstocked snacks & drinks). I think it's a lack of staffing. During a recent stay, I requested a luggage rack since there wasn't one in the room. The front desk brought up a luggage cart. When I explained that I wanted a rack for the suitcase, I was told "we don't have those".

The rooms are in great shape, clean, nice decor. However, in my room the air conditioner rattled consistently when on high fan. Has nice double blackout or daytime window shades. The gym is nice - it has good, functional machines and a full set of dumbbells, plus plenty of cardio equipment. 6-foot pool is nice and there are decent outdoor seating areas. I didn’t try the restaurant/bar but it seemed pretty average from appearance. The riverwalk nearby is okay for walk/run, but gets into some really rough neighborhoods and run-down industrial areas pretty quickly if you’re heading north.

We really like this hotel and it’s one of my favorites for non-luxury hotels (and we stay at probably close to 100 hotels a year). Friendly staff, good location and close to many things, had a M lounge with good offerings for those with statues, great rooftop outdoor area on mid level with playground for kids as well. Rooms are nice and clean and quiet. Full door showers (something a lot of hotels have gone away from) which I appreciate and window shades that truly keep all the light out more easily as well as a more opaque option for during the day.
