Cons first (because there were more): 1. It’s very brown making it easy to hide unsanitary conditions. 2. Electrical issues: bulbs flicker, TV works but only after you change the plug ports, but it will turn off suddenly & unexpectedly; mini fridge is actually a mini freezer (my salad told me and a canned sprite exploded to confirm salad’s opinion). 3. Mattress gave me no warning about needing an appointment with my chiropractor. Ouch. 4. You’ll need gripping gloves to raise and lower the blinds. The metal cord is wholly under-capable of the task and should really complain to his union or HR that his design is def off. 5. Elevator to the parking garage is suffering the same tenure problem; she goes up and down on her own menopausal schedule. 6. Staff population is mostly neurodivergent, but if you are kind, they are too. Mostly. I have stayed in worse. Pros: 1. A/C is spot on. 2. Location is fairly walkable. 3. The gym, while being dated, has the right equipment for a full workout and the pool is actually a good size! 4. Zero room transfer noise. I heard not a door slam nor couple arguing. All in all, it’s really time for “this old house” to do more than just watch Property Brothers. Do better Marriott because I am consistently having better experiences with every brand of Hilton. It doesn’t help when we turn on the TV to see Marriott Network showing their luxury hotels with stunning facilities and experiences awaiting (elsewhere/not here).

Disappointed with this hotel. The view from my room was the only nice thing. Jon the front desk representative was the exact opposite of what you'd want as the first welcoming face when you arrive at a hotel. Nothing positive or welcoming. One of the beds in my room, you could clearly tell wasn't made recently. There was impressions or imprints as if someone just threw the cover back under the pillows real quick, giving the appearance it was made. The other bed, had a sheet that wasn't tucked in or anything. Just laid on top of the mattress to sleep on. No second sheet, not even a fitted sheet. Just laziness all the way around. The air conditioner didn't work. Stayed on 72°, even when I turned the fan to "fan high" and tried to lower the temp to 68-70°. Left for a few hours, came back warmer than when I left. Not comfortable at all! We won't be back.

The hotel was so nice and getting to swim again after so long was nice too. There was one small issue with other guests; but the workers already tried to deal with them and they thought they were *better than*. They took up the pool area and then also the 12th floor lounge later for a large party and were acting like we were the issue trying to just enjoy the pool and then grab drinks after. Linda, one of the nice front desk girls had set it up so I got Sweets! She heard my comment about it being my birthday and when we had left to go out somewhere she had someone run up with sweets and a card 💕💕

The only thing I would say about the parking is that when the garage underneath does get full you should have someone out side paying attention for when people pull up to direct them where they are able to park. I had to circle around twice and then just sit in the middle of the road before someone finely directed me where I could park.

When you do arrive there are plenty of people at front offering help with luggage and offer carts for luggage.

First I never received any conformation of my reservation. I'm not sure why, but my guess would be the email that was written down when I called for the reservation was wrong. When I called and made the reservation I asked to have a later check out. The person on the phone said it was "all set", so i planned my trip around having a later check out. When I got to the hotel I was informed check out was 12 and we did not have a later check out. When I asked about this the lady helping me said this is only a request and never guaranteed. I asked then why I was told over the phone everything was all set. She was being understanding and explained i would have to pay extra for later check out which i had no issue with, but as she was explaining this to me the manager standing next to her said there were not going to be any late check outs the day I was checking out due to another large group coming in. This in it self is fine and understandable but if this information was told to me when I made the reservation over the phone instead of telling me it was all set I would have just booked the extra night. As I was trying to explain this to the manager he rudely disregarded anything I had to say.

Second. I understand we put up the acceptance of being "green" sign on our door saying we will reuse towels and linen, but by putting this up shouldn't mean that room service does not go to your room at all. Room service never came to our room to replenish any coffee, soap, or shampoo that we may have used or even to empty out our trash cans. This didn't happen until i mentioned it to a gentleman in the lobby and all I asked was for the coffee to be replaced and the trash to be emptied. Even then only one out of 3 of the trashes where emptied.

Finally around 10:15 while my children where relaxing and trying to sleep "room service" knocked on our room door. When the door was answered the person at the door asked " If we were still here" First why is someone from the hotel staff knocking on the door that late, and how is it not know if a guest is still staying in the room? I was not in the room in the time so when I came back my wife explained to me what happened I went down to the front desk to see what was going on. I told the story to the person standing there who explained she was the person who knocked on the door and also happened to be the manager on duty. She apologized and said there was a mix up somewhere. I then explained some of the other odd events that had happened in our experience there and she had agreed it all seemed off. She was helpful and more then willing to accommodate. She informed me that if needed the next day they could hold luggage for us if needed due to us having to leave before expected. She did offer breakfast for us the next day which was nice, but honestly did not have time for. Overall the majority of the staff was helpful, but the overall experience...

Recently stayed in the Springfield, MA Sheraton hotel for a conference. Even though the hotel came with great reviews, our experience ended up being very sub-par.

The rooms were nice, but a few people in our conference had to switch rooms after check in because there was standing water on the carpeting. Another person was told that their reservation for a suite was could not be fulfilled. After she complained, they finally moved her up to the Presidential Suite. And I watched another person in the conference be told that their reservation could not be honored because the hotel was overbooked. I do not understand if you have a reservation that they don't have a room for you.

I personally didn't have any of these problems, but I was unable to get a good nights sleep the entire time I stayed at the hotel. And what is up with the maids trying to clean my room at 8am when I am still in the room??? And the biggest complaint I have is a woman in the conference was staying just down the hall. On the last day of the conference, she went down to the conference breakfast/last meeting only to return to her room at 8:30am to find all of her belongings had been removed from her room, even though checkout time wasn't until 12 noon and she had NOT checked out yet. What kind of hotel removes your stuff from the room before checkout time??? Very unacceptable! She was very upset and I don't blame her.

The staff of the hotel were usually polite, but there were plenty of staff members who obviously did not like being there. During the breakfast/last meeting, I arrived at the breakfast when there was still 30 minutes left. They were out of most of the food already and there was no place to sit. I had to ask 5 different servers where I could get some silverware before one of them finally went to go get some silverware. There was no more room at any of the tables, so I ended up eating my breakfast in the hallway. When the meeting started, one of the servers finally and went and got some chairs for us. Out of all the servers in the room, it seemed like only 1 or 2 were interested in offering any help. That was the ONLY hospitality offered! Very disappointed.

I was extremely disappointed in my stay. I won't even bother mentioning the overpriced food in the hotel bar and restaurant. It was very sub-par. Definitely not worth the price they were charging. And beware, the entire area around the hotel seems to close down on the weekends. We found some really good restaurants in the area, but by the weekend, the choices...

The facilities itself was fine but the rest was an absolute mess.

The check-in/front desk was disastrous. I called multiple times, I had made my reservations far out and it still involved multiple dealings with staff and managers and STILL had problems at check out. I needed one room for two nights and a second room for just one of those two nights. Basically, we were going to a wedding, my daughter had to be there a day early because she was a bridesmaid. I, my husband, and our two sons were just coming out for the one night of the event. I called a month out because I wanted to make sure there would be no problem with my daughter checking in by herself since she was only 17. The person I spoke to was understandably uncomfortable with a minor checking in so I quickly offered that my parents (her grandparents) would be there too and could they just accompany her to the front desk? That was fine, but the reservations person I spoke to suggested also putting my mother's name on the room to completely legitimize it. And that's where the problems started . . . My parents also had two rooms under their names and everything got jumbled between the two accounts. At one point, we had all four rooms under my name. There was also confusion apparently because my husband is the loyalty account owner but I made the reservations so we had multiple reservations some under my name and some under his. Nobody was sure what was under which name, which credit card should be attached to which room, how many night were needed with each room/account. I literally spent 40 minutes at the front desk at check in after my father had fought with them twice before, I had made two phone calls, and it was STILL confused. Even at checkout, my parents' room still had my name on it, but at least it was under the correct credit card! Plus we had made multiple requests for early check in since we had to be dressed and ready to leave for the wedding my 3:30 and they couldn't have our scheduled room ready so they were able to switch us to an already cleaned room. The front desk guy who was trying to help us at check in was Noah, he was doing his best but he was flabbergasted and could only attempt to unravel the mess. So after we were finally in our room, we met up with some of the extended family for lunch before we needed to get dressed for the wedding. We went to the pub and told the waitress we were on a rather tight timeline. It was 12:45-50, and we wanted to be done by...
