On 2/22/25 I was attend a thunderbird game I was sitting in section 25 row b seat 8 I after the game we had a situation that developed ,when all the player and staff were off ice not in the area. I made a choice to toss a plastic beverage cup in the air and it went over the glass and fell onto the ice along with a stuffed stress ball shaped like a heart Again no players or staff were around Next were were surrounded by Staff in MGM red shirts one of the gentleman men was very aggressive about the situation and pointing his finger and not give us the chance to explain demanding ID’s yelling at my daughter and my wife I tried to de-escalate the situation and explain that we are leaving and apologized for my behavior and did not intend for the plastic cup to hit the ice. At this point he The man that stated he is the head of security with NO NAME GIVEN he got into a very long and unprofessional disagreement with my daughter and would not let me speak he was singled her out and continued doing so and was blocking the stairs and be very aggressive I almost fell and had to grab the hand rail. The so called Head of security was running around and causing a big commotion right in front of all remain fans in your building. We were being pushed by your staff down hallways like we just committed a major crime Forcing my daughter against a wall even one of your staff stated he was a jerk . Now the police got involved and the head of security said she needs to be arrested NOW Springfield Police stated just get your daughter out of the building which we did. The exchange with the mass mutual staff did not end and people didn’t separate the level of professionalism was not present the aggression was very extreme over a a simple mistake My feelings are simple I will not attend anymore games at Mass Mutual center or events and will make sure this get out so people will understand that the at the staff at they Mass Mutual Center , IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND THEY ARE AGGRESSIVE and can not de-escalate a situation with the public s safety in mind Thank you for your time
This is not the first incident with mass mutual staff MGM have hospitalized people because they acted so in- professional and can not...
Read moreOkay so this past month, the wife and I went to Louis C.K. in Springfield at this place.
There was adequate parking across the street which was reasonably priced. The food and drinks were overpriced (not surprised, and not complaining about that). Otherwise the facility was clean.
So, why so dissatisfied? Well, we bought tickets to seats, in a row, that didn't exist. Let me rephrase that. We were sold tickets to seats that didn't exist. The row was located where the cameras recording the show were stationed. Tickets had gone on sale months in advance, but this wasn't figured out until the day of.
So our row had been displaced. Supposedly there's a policy that if you have to be moved, then you get better seats. We were moved to the stands (by staff) to the front, left of the stage. We were so excited! Then the people that bought tickets to those seats arrived. So we were moved, by staff, to seats stage left, eight rows from the stage. We were so pumped! Then, the people that bought the tickets to that spot showed up. We were moved five rows back from our original spot, left of the stage. We were bumbed to the nth degree.
The floor staff were polite, and very understanding. The supervisor was handling a situation as best he could, and had been working on trying to get the seats rearranged. When we got our last placement, he was apologetic and understanding. This wasn't his fault, he and the rest of his floor staff did the best they could in this situation. This is the only reason this facility got a 2 out of 5 was because of the staff. I know how it is to be in their shoe's, I couldn't get mad with them. They weren't at fault. The person arranging the seats (who isn't there), was at fault.
He gave a name and an e-mail to make a complaint. My wife sent an e-mail, she received a phone call about it, but we received no resolution. After two weeks I am writing my review. We are pretty much over it, though not happy about...
