I have worked in customer service for nearly 30 years, and therefore have some standards of personal expectation from an institution: this bank has failed me in every way possible. In a matter of four months, my money was deposited into the wrong account- someone else's account altogether! This happened not once, but FOUR TIMES. On one occasion they accidentally deposited ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, which belonged to SOMEONE ELSE, in my account. After the third error, I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager about the issue. Not a single manager bothered to spend five minutes of their time to give me a return phone call. They simply ignored me. At one point they did send a thank you card for returning their eleven thousand dollars, but that was only after the FIFTH time (over a period of a week) I had asked, quite calmly and in a friendly manner, to speak with a manager. I truly believe they only sent me the card just to shut me up. They tell you to your face that they care about their customers, but they certainly don't back up that philosophy with their actions. I will say that some of the tellers seem to have more of a sense of empathy and good customer service than the managers do. One teller in particular, named Peyton (National branch) did a very good job in taking my call and promptly getting my money back in my account.
