Los Michoacanos Garcias — Restaurant in Springfield

I am completely outraged by the experience I had today with this restaurant. I received several wrong foods item, after I clarified my order with them several times. I ordered fajitas with no bell peppers, a cheese dip and a shredded cheese. Not that difficult of an order. The person placing the order asked me several times about my order and I clarified what I wanted 2 to 3 times. Then he even read me back what I ordered. I received my food and it was wrong. I immediately called and everything was worked out. I was told I was going to get a refund for the wrong items and I would get a replacement fajita order when I came back to the restaurant. I was pleased with the resolution. However, 20 minutes later they called me and accused me of lying about the issues I had. Excuse me? What need would I have to lie? I already had to pick through my food because I am not a fan of bell peppers. They told me that they asked the cook and he said he prepared the food correctly. The person on the phone said that if I didn’t have a picture, then I was lying. WHAT?!? I would’ve sent a picture if you asked previously 20 minutes prior. There was no issue, and now you are accusing me of lying about my food. I stated that I was unhappy and planned on writing a bad review about this whole experience because I thought everything was just ridiculous. She hatefully insinuated that it wouldn’t be a big ordeal, so I hope that you are ready for food mistakes, bad attitudes, and accusations with this restaurant. I would save my money and go somewhere that actually respects...

I had never eaten at this place before and i wanted to try something new for date night. We walk in and everything is going fine. The host takes us to our table and just walks away. Doesnt say anything to us just puts the menus on the table and walks away. She then walked over to a table with a bunch of other people at it and sits down with them and starts acting like shes just there to get paid to hang out with her friends. This was just the first bad service we had, i over looked it because i wasnt gonna let that decide if income back. Then our server comes. He wasnt very friendly seemed like he didnt really want to help us. He was super short with us and forgot part of our order, which we never did end up getting. He had to come back a second time because he didnt ask if we wanted chicken or beef for our meal, which isnt that big of a deal, but this kind of stuff just kept happening. Our server kept checking on us but it seemed like he really just wanted us to leave. He also kept going back to that table i mentioned before and seemed to only wanna be there. I love this restaurant, it's my favorite place for authentic old Mexican dishes!!! Service is the best I have ever had, ever!!! And I've been to Avanzare's and Metropolitan Grill which I consider to be two excellent establishments to dine out. Los Michoacanos Garcias to rank up there with these two fine restaurants. The place is so clean, I bet you could eat off the floor, although I wouldn't recommend that! The people who operate and serve you are the sweetest people I have blessed to be in their presence. So if you're looking for real authentic Mexican cuisine, that I haven't found in Springfield, Branson or all the surrounding area's in between!!! They are located in Springfield, Missouri, off West Sunshine Street. Between Fort and Kansas Expressway in a little strip mall of small businesses. Just a few feet from the bowling alley there. Braum's is just about straight across on the other side of West Sunshine. If you love real authentic old Mexican cuisine or you have always wanted to try it.
