They use so many more vegetables than other Chinese restaurants give you. THE VERY FRESH VEGETABLES ARE ALWAYS COOKED PERFECT, and have been just slightly cooked to make them very soft. I just love their brown sauce that seems to be in all their dishes.

The picture is a number 12, Large Pepper Steak, spicy, with Extra Water Chestnuts. I love when you dine in, they give you your rice on separate plate, and a plate for your Dining Companion. With 6 different colleges in Springfield, Missouri, there seems to be like almost 30 Chinese fast food.

Pine Garden is the very best one. Their Awesome restaurant is always so so clean, from their customers bathrooms to the dining room. We don't even Live in Springfield as we live in Poplar Bluff, almost 4 hours away. But when Driving to Springfield, all we can think about is a Gourmet food freshly cooked to order, At Pine Garden!!!@@!!!

It also tastes the same Everytime. I've been eating their Great Food since 2013, over 11 years. I still get so Excited about getting an Awesome meal, that's HEALTHFUL, and the Very Best Chinese Restaurant I've ever eaten at. I've eaten the best Chinese in Chinatown in San Francisco, and Pine Garden is so so much better than any Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at!!!.

The food is good but the owner guy is super rude! I wouldn't go back if someone paid me to! They messed up my order which is no biggie. I realize mistakes happen but when I asked them politely to correct it he literally started yelling at me through the drive through window and blaming me. Then he had the nerve to tell me I had to pay again to get what I had ordered in the first place. I was in shock that I was being treated this way. Not only was the mistake on him but then to have the nerve to blame the customer and literally yell at me telling me to pay again was just crazy! I will never go back here. I don't care if the food is good. I won't do business with someone that treats me this way. Not to mention I've been a loyal customer there for years. Guess what buddy?!?!? There's no shortage of Chinese restaurants in this town and your food is just mediocre, so I hope your rudeness and poor character comes back to bite you where the good...

Cashew chicken sauce was so salty, I ended up throwing it in the trash. My roommate that salts everything even commented it was too salty. I'm thinking they added too much soy sauce. Was this a standard or a one off? The chicken without the sauce tasted ok. The crab Rangoon was good The rice was edible but not much flavor. Generally when you order crab Rangoon and egg rolls it comes with either a sweet sauce or duck sauce. That's generally standard. I didn't think to ask and they didn't ask. Imo egg roll aren't good without sweet sauce. The egg rolls themselves were small and lacking in flavor. Overall they are rated well, my expectations were high and I was disappointed. If I give them another try (I usually give a second chance ) I will be asking for a sample or try another dish. My suggestion would be to review your recipe for cashew sauce. It was not a good experience. Your crab Rangoon was good. I might stop in and order crab...
