Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Springfield

I have been there a couple of times. The pizza is always delicious cooked as asked. Restaurant is always clean. Outside the restaurant is always clean. The only thing they need to work on is when someone comes in and stands at the counter waiting to have their order taken or their order picked up they tend to be ignored at the counter for a while. Me being in customer service if I did that my boss would be all over my backside

September 16th 2024. On this visit I am very disappointed. When I got here the place look like a ghost town no employees to be seen I have placed my order on the app but when I got here and I stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes before somebody came out she was very rude didn't talk much to me at all. When I asked for a receipt all she gave me was the part that asked for a tip and it gave the total amount but I wanted a part of the receipt that shows that I got. After explaining what I needed she got it for me. When she brought my order to me she didn't say anything to me she just placed it on the table and walked away, she gave me no napkins. She was not wearing a name tag, so I can not tell you her name. And the pizza tasted of cinnamon and sugar which as a diabetic is a bad thing for me so obviously they're not cleaning their pizza pans well enough after they cook something with cinnamon and sugar in it to not get it on the pizzas. There isn't a single clean table in the house all of them have crumbs on them, and the floor is dirty. This is not the service that I normally get at this Pizza Hut again very disappointed

I ordered online, and it was easy fast and convenient. When I got to the restaurant someone came right over and gave me my soda. And told me my pizza would be ready in about 7 minutes. When the pizza arrived half of it did not even have cheese on it. He stated that it must have bubbled up and all the cheese slid to the other side. When I pointed out at the pizza didn't have cheese on half of it he offered to make me a new one. When the new pizza arrived it was cooked right cheese was all over it and it...

I ordered 4 pizzas, 2 cheese bread, 2 dessert, and 4 drinks plus sauces... I order at 6pm. I was told estimate delivery time would be 6:45 pm. I called at 7:20 pm to get an update and that's when I get a text that the driver was on the way. They get almost to my house and return to store. I found out it was the driver who noticed my drinks weren't there. They got the drinks and then returned to deliver my order. They had only given the driver 3 of the pizzas telling him the whole order was there. I showed him the receipt and he saw and politely took the receipt and went back to the store. He said they told him they would have it started within 25 minutes. He also said the manager would give me a call. 30 minutes goes by before I receive any calls just to tell me how busy they were and it would be another 45 minutes or so to complete the order and get it sent out. Then proceed to ask if that's okay. I obviously don't have a choice as I have hungry kids waiting to eat because our power went out. Which was the whole reason I ordered pizza. It's literally 9:33 pm as I write this and I still haven't received my order yet. The delivery person did amazing job and was diligent with his part. The store on the other hand dropped the ball. I finished writing this at 9:45 pm with the order in hand. Not to my surprise, the extra sauces I paid for were NOT there! Almost 4 hours later since I ordered it. Pizza Hut, you disappointed me very much! Domino's did better last time there were power outages and they too got busy. They also credited me my money for the inconvenience that occurred. I'm not saying you should do that too, but some kind of discount with a credit back for the items I didn't receive...

My son wanted pizza and it's been a long time since we had pizza hut so I thought it would be a treat.

Overall it was ok. Not good.

I was greeted with an empty restaurant and the man at the counter asked if I had carryout. Those should have been my warning signs not to eat there.

The person taking our order was fine. I was surprised when I asked for water, we had to pay for bottled water, but whatever.

The guy that brought us our food was nice. The order was wrong (a hand tossed instead of a thick) and he kinda dismissed me. It was fine though. Not a huge deal. He wanted to make sure we got everything and went and got ranch for my salad which was forgotten. And again asked if I wanted anything. So he was nice and bumped up the service rating.

The pizza was not great. It was ok. We both ate it and it was fine. There was not enough cheese so there was a lot of bare sauce and the chicken on my side was super bland. The ranch wasn't great. It was ok.

The restaurant has terrible chairs and tables and was freezing. I felt uncomfortable the whole time.

I won't be back. Much better pizza...
