Super, Awesome & Amazing — Attraction in Springfield

I'm editing my review based on my party experience yeterday. If I can give 0 stars I would.

DO NOT PLAN A PARTY HERE. VIOLETA ARTEAGA is one of the most unprofessional customer service people I've encountered. I work in events and I know how events work. I booked our party MONTHS in advance. My contract started at 11:30 and we get there at 11:15 (which was in the contract that we can arrive for set up) and I'm being told that there was a glitch in the system and the rooms that I booked was not available. If I'm paying $1,100 for 2 rooms I expect it to be ready when I needed it. $1,100?! We were supposed to be in rooms 6 & 7 and they said if I wanted those rooms I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Then they offered rooms 3 & 4 which were separate. Why would I book 2 rooms and have my guests separate?!?! So they proceed to move the other party so we can have two rooms together. My party starts at 11:30 and guests are arriving and the room was not ready. She comes over to give us the most insincere apology. Then my contract states that it ends at 2:30pm. Cleaners show up at 2pm trying to kick us out because they need to get ready for the next party. YOU GUYS SERIOUSLY OVERBOOK. If you are charging that much money I expected more.

OH AND THE FOOD. Let's talk about the food. The menu was due 7 days prior to the event which I sent over. There was no confirmation whatsover so I called Violeta 2 days later to confirm. She goes "oh yeah, I received it were all set". So if I did not call, how was I supposed to know that everything was set for the party? The party "host" comes to me and asks me if we ordered food. And I was just in shock when he came to me asking me this. There were chafing dishes under the tables. AND THEY WERE NOT USED. We ate our chicken wings ($50 for 20 pieces), fries ($30 for a pan) and sliders ($70 for 20 pieces)room temperature. I don't care if Spike Mendelson's name is attached to Vim and Victor. The food was mediocre for the price you are paying. If you are charging that much money for food, the quality should've been WAY BETTER or at least allow people to bring outside food that tastes better. Pizza at Domino's taste better. Fries at McDonalds taste better. Bottled Water and Juice were all room temperature. If someone wanted it cold, there was no ice available.

The play area changed. They no longer have the trampoline. The splash park is always great. Contract stated that the splash park play was until 2:30pm but water shut off at 2pm.

We love the splash park and my kids overall experience. However, the customer service for planning a party here - forget about it. It takes weeks for them to reply. So if you try to plan a party, try to book months in advance just because of how long it takes them to...

Recently had my daughter party here The communication is vague. I eventually was able book reservation. But after that I was concern as to why I hadn't been contacted as far as being confirm for my date. I was ensure all would be well but the day of my daughter party I ended up without a decorated room with nothing in the room. I wanted mermaid theme decor. Especially since saw online a well set up that drew m to book this place. I keep checking to make sure I would be good but ended up nothing . A party was before mine so the room was being used and afterwards top. Staff rudely prepared cotton candle in my party room while I still accompanied. Also I booked a Party to accommodate for 15 guests but was still charge for it. Despite 4 passes I didn't use and gave back unused writs bands. My total was more then what told. I didn't add anything so I don't understand why I was paying more then my given price. The staff told me they couldn't remove the costs of the 4 unused water passes. Simply alot to do here . Big facility. My daughter enjoyed her party but I don't like the fact I was lied to about party setup . I had a issue with that. They tried to tell me what they had as far as decorations but it doesn't equal up to what I wanted. No balloons nothing back drip nothing. Table setup to my theme of choice..another guests before me had same issue so they understood n gave there backdrop n balloons. That was a disappointment to me .1st time coming . My daughter enjoyed and so did I but I don't like that I was overcharged and without party room setup. My party hosts Jake was okay too. There is other things to do . They water park, arcade , moon bounce , n rock climbing are additional amenities to enjoy. My guests enjoy the popcorn and cotton candy which was additional added to my party. I don't recommend this place* please find other places to book your kids party. My sister booked her son's birthday for this Saturday 3 weeks ago. They took the deposit confirmed date & time then they said will reach out a week or so before party date to collect the rest of the amount. She didn't hear anything from them, therefore she contacted them today March 10th since party is this Saturday to pay the remaining balance. When she called an associate answered the phone and told her her party is NOT on Saturday instead party is booked her on Sunday. She explained it must be a mistake on thier end because all her conformation email & recipients shows its for Saturday. Quickly the associate pretended as if he can't hear her and disconnect the call very rude & disappointing 😑. She called again & asked to speak with manager in hoping to resolve the issue. Manager was worse than associate. He was very unprofessional and he discriminating person I ever came across to. As she was explaining to him, & sent him the confirmation, he didn't even apologize for thier mistakes they had made. After going back & forth for few minutes, the phone got disconnected. We called again they don't answer. We tried thier email they blocked our email. I called with my phone they answered which is very sad, no one should go through this. They mistreated my sister because she has an accent when she speaks. She speaks English fluently. No one should be treated differently because they speak different languages or has an accent. He was very rude & can careless of fixing the situation we encountered. Sad to say, they canceled our booking date & time without any further explanation. They treated us less of human beings & said will refund the money. How disgusting to treat a customer like this.
