The absolute worst customer service imaginable. My wife and I shop here very frequently because of the large variety a vegetable and meat. However, on July 4 we purchase a rack of T-bone steak for over $100 but because of the lineup in the meat department would choose not to have them chop. We thought we could do it at home but realize that there is too much cutting involved so we decided to bring the t-bone back to the meat department and have them chop for us, not a big deal right? So today (July 7), with receipt in hand my wife and I approach the customer service department and ask a customer service clerk (I think his name is Rafael) for the meat to be cut, surprisingly we were told that because we open up the wrapping that they will not be able to cut the meat for us. We were told by rafeal and Alonso (meat department) that they will not cut the meat for us even though we have the receipt. SERIOUSLY? They called for the security man to come and escort us out. We then tried to reason with the security man and explain the situation. He seems to be a very sensible man and understands that it is not such a big deal to cut the meat and make a customer happy. So instead of giving us a hard time he turns around and tried to convince Rafeal and Alonso or even teaching them a lesson on how to treat a customer. At this point the store manager arrived even though Rafeal and Alonso told us that there is no store manager in the store. The store manager quickly resolve the problem and Rafeal and Alonso to cut the meat. Bottom line, it's a Friday evening, we have been working very hard all week and tire, we just want to get our meat chopped so we can go home and have a decent dinner, in return this is what we get, a very bad customer service experience and a lot of anxiety for us as we spent literally half an hour trying to convince Rafeal and Alonso to chop the T-bone steak so we can go home and have dinner. Needless to say we will never a shop here again, we do not deserve this kind of treatment from those two unqualified personnel who are horrendous at their job,. That is very unfortunate because we really liked the supermarket, however they do have issues with their customer service personnel, especially Rafeal and Alonso. Every security guard has followed me and my boyfriend around the store to the point where I've asked myself many times why do I continue to spend my hard earned money here...They have a new white security guard who looks like he attended the January 6th insurrection lol..About two weeks ago he asked me to move from the no parking zone while my bf was in the store, which I did. My bf comes out the store and we pull out of the parking space. We proceed forward and I see the security guard in the store window what looked to be him writing my license plate number down. I went to the store today to confront him on why he was writing down my license plate number. He acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. His memory came back but he didn't tell me what was the probable cause behind it. I told him if he continues I will make a formal complaint. He laughed and said he owned the security company and the complaint better be justified. I asked my bf if he continues to do business there to record while he's in that store for his own protection. It's about how I feel when I shop in any store and I'm done shopping in this one. If I feel harassed or unwanted every time I step foot in your store its time to call it quits. I'm sure my black dollars don't matter but my integrity does. I don't even want a sorry !@%$ response just learn how to treat your customers better.... He asked if I wanted to purchase plastic bags and I kindly stated no because I brought my own reusable bags. He proceeded to scan everything as fast as he could and threw them with no care. I came home with a broken box of eggs because he was careless. When he was done scanning he told me to pay as he wanted to start with the next person even though I was still bagging. He started to scan the person behind me and even they were shocked as he was stacking their stuff on mine. He is a cashier and should help bag even a couple of stuff. When he asked the person behind me if they were gonna purchase he started bagging there stuff in there right away. So if we buy bags from the store they will bag it?? If we bring our own do we bag it?? That was very rude and unprofessional on his part. If your in a bad mood don't go to work or stop betting how many people you can check out. I have been coming here for 10 years now and i have never been treated like this. This place has gone downhill with treating there customers.
