SkinLab Napa Valley — Attraction in St. Helena

At the age of 54 years old, I finally started on a journey of skin care & I chose the SkinLab at Duncan Dermatology for several reasons: I prefer to purchase products locally whenever possible & I knew that Skinceudicals was the product line I was interested in. The Skinceudicals customer service rep was the person who informed me that they have 'SkinLabs' here & there and (lucky for me!!) this one was only 40 miles away. In addition, I wasn't looking for a Day Spa because I was more after a medical-based approach. The office, the setting & the staff were all top notch. I worked with Liz, who was fantastic! She explained everything in detail-the products, the services, the timeline(s)-which products she recommended for my skin & most importantly WHY she recommended them. She explained how they work, what makes them work & how long they may take to show visible results. She did not push or try to upsell any products. She basically said, "This product is best for your top priority skin concern and here is why. If you felt like you wanted to address the 2nd most important issue as well, you could do this + that." And we went right down the line, with absolutely no pressure. I was very pleased with the setting, the staff & the services at Duncan Dermatology & SkinLab. I am more than happy to drive the 40 miles to buy products (& the peace of mind that they are not cheap knockoffs I might see online). I am looking forward to trying some more of their skin care services as well. Happy...

Are we supposed to enjoy yearly skin exams? Well, I just had a wonderful exam by Dr. Nguyen, who is backup for Dr. Duncan. Dr. Nguyen continues the high level of skin care that I’ve been receiving for years at the office. She is smart, professional, and thorough. She also maintains the very high level of wonderful “bedside manner” that I value and am used to at the office. She is warm, personal, sweet, bright, and friendly; she has a sense of humor; and she’s conversational. I felt that she saw me as a person and not just a sheet of epidermal wrapping. The SkinLab Duncan Dermatology was such an amazing way to start my Napa vacation. I was greeted warmly at check-in and swiftly taken back to the treatment room by the skin therapist, Liz. Liz examined my skin thoroughly with the skin scope machine and recommended the SkinCeuticals SkinsSmooth treatment.
