Area 51 STL — Attraction in St. Louis

Huge selection, knowledgeable staff, and a new space to boot! They even have a lounge with Delta-8 for sale and video games and a place to get your medical card, it's a real one stop shop.

....Except ever since they have been in the new building they have not accepted credit cards. They just have a handwritten sign that says "Cash Only. No ATM. Sorry." This has been in the window for weeks. I've tried to go in no fewer than 6 times in the last couple months and they never have a working credit card machine. I know the internet works because the employees are all messing around on computers. I don't know if you've tried to use a computer without internet recently, but it's useless. Not to mention the times I've gone in, I've seen people turn around once they see the sign. How are they paying for the new spot? The shop two doors down never has an issue with their cards, so I end up going there all the time and I bet they have the same...

Smoke and smoking accessories. They also carry a variety of tattoo supplies. I love this place, I make it in at least twice a month for either a coil, papers, CBD, smokers candle, tattoo needles, etc.... It's where I buy my Nag Champa, the whole place smells of it. There's a lot of head shops in town but this one has a very "90s" feel to it and definitely not in a bad way. You get hit with the Nag as soon as you walk trough the door and the floor board creaks as it did years and years ago in the same spot. The Graffix logos and Dragonball on TV just add to the time warp this place is. The merchandise however is the latest and greatest, they do really well keeping everything in stock and current. The sales guys are legit as they won't point you to the most expensive item, only what fits your needs best. I wish there was a lounge of sorts in there because it would make a pretty chill spot and if they moved some stuff around they definitely have the space. But hey I don't...

High quality products. Great service. Area 51 is a wonderful smoke shop recommended in the St. Louis area, especially if you're in the south side. Good times. People are great if you're in a cratium they got another side for that. If you're an alternative smokes they have another side on that. But what's most amounting what's most amazing about this head shop or smoke vape shop is the leather artist that's on site. Most beautiful work I've ever seen done. He can do a full face mask of shield. A portrait of any kind of image. A true artist and he can do saddlebags and for the high-end hockey player. He has a $10,000 bag for you but believe me he is worth visiting. Talking to you and getting your family crest.
