Once Upon A Bookseller — Local services in St. Marys

It's a small little town store by the St.Marys waterfront & if not mistaken its Thee Only Book Store down here . Yet its Very welcoming, clean , organized & the staff there are very friendly & super helpful. Meaning if u don't find what ur looking for they quickly go to their computer & order it for u, free of charge ( u know... just the order part not the book) if u are desiring it. This is a bookstore for READERS, not folks looking for accessories, postcards, or tchotchkes. For a small bookstore in a tiny town, it's wonderful. Plenty of great summer reading material from Stephen King (including the wonderful On Writing) to Ray Bradbury to Dickens, this shop has a little something for every reader. Most books are paperback which seems a wise choice for this market as it keeps inventory costs down, but she does have a few well selected hardcovers. Absolutely looooooved this store when we lived in Georgia. I struggled with culture shock moving to such a small town, from Seattle. I find myself missing the kind people and little things only the south could have. This little book store has an amazing array of books. For it being such a cute little place, I didn't think I'd find much. The ladies working there are just too sweet. My personal favorite thing, was their adult coloring books.
