I went to see Something Rotten last night. It was my first time at the Stockton Civic Theater and I was very impressed! The Theater was lovely and very comfortable. The staff was welcoming from the box office to the doorman to the ushers! The show was performed so professionally that I felt that I was back in New York. If there were any flaws with the sound, lights, or backstage activities, they were not perceptible. The cast and stage crew were outstanding! This production was several notches above any community theater I had ever seen before. The singing and dancing was outstanding. Comedy is not easy to perform, but the cast handled it beautifully. Also close is a fresh bakery and a small strip for different stores. Near the end is the Mongolian Beef restaurant. (Which I haven't been to in years.) Unfortunately at this time I didn't take pictures, but when I go to the play I will update with more information and photos. Don't fully rely on GPS either. It gets you close, but has you go further than needed. The attendant in the both was incredibly nice and helpful. She answered all my questions with kindness and understanding. I can't...
