Read moreFirst time shopping here and I was quite impressed. Has some fantastic stores. Clean. Wonderful assortment of stores. Macy's, Dillard's and Penney's are excellent anchor stores. I don't know why they say in person shopping is fading out. It makes for a lovely experience to browse through stores and try on clothes. And people watch as you stroll through the mall. I was pleased to see a good amount of people there on a weekday afternoon. Can't wait to see what the shopping vibe is during Christmas
What I don't like. Mall needs more and nicer seating areas. places to sit for a second while you rest up is severely lacking. I don't like how kiosk vendors harass you as you walk by. That should not be allowed. let us walk in peace. I clearly see you. If I wanted to stop I would. Needs more covered parking. I wish the movie theater was attached to the mall. I've always enjoyed strolling through a mall before or after catching a movie. And I wish there was some sit-down restaurants in the mall. Like a Rainforest Cafe would be fun. Something more to do than just shop would complete the package.
Aesthetically the mall felt a little sterile. Nothing eye catching or interesting to look at. That might come hand in hand with single level malls that are long stretches of stores. I prefer the more traditional two-story mall. And because it's a single level Mall the walks can get rather far apart because it's more stretched out. So bring your comfortable shoes. The skylights are a nice touch. It's nice to have some natural light.
On the whole I'm very pleased to have such a nice mall where I live. I'll be a frequent patron...
