I have loved this clock since I was a small child going on adventures with my mother and aunts in Amish country. It used to be held in a restaurant beside a cheese factory when I was little. Unfortunately the steps were rickety and it wasn't safe so the cuckoo clock was then purchased, restored, and moved to Sugar Creek. The cuckoo clock goes off every hour and half hour. But we're quickly shushed by serious crowd of what I could only assume was Cuckoo enthusiasts??. - WHOOPS. The eccentric shopp next the clock was GREAT! There was so many items I wanted. The two men running the place were down to earth and helpful.
