Girl From Ipanema Spa — Attraction in Summit

I don’t normally write any reviews. Ever. Unless I’m floored by the business. I’m also an honest critic and don’t love when businesses ask me to write reviews! But this one - didn’t ask me to write it. I am INCLINED to write it.

Here’s what happened. I’m not really good at spray tans so I don’t know how to prepare for them that well but I’ve been doing spray tans at this spa for about a couple of years now when I go on vacation and I’ve loved them so much. I’ve tried so many other facilities within the union County, but have not liked anything and keep coming back to the girl from Ipanema Spa in Summit

Right before a two week vacation I came to get a spray tan and I stupidly walked out in the rain. so clearly my spray tan got messed up. I went back right away and the owner Rosana was incredibly helpful. I felt compassion from her. I felt empathy from her. She didn’t have to attend to me, but she did. She took me back, made some room in her schedule and actually redid my spray tan!!! On top of that she even gave me a spray tan moose that I can use to touch up on vacation with absolutely no charge. She did not have to do that but she cares about the services she offers. She cares about her clients. I’m literally floored by her and I will continue to always come back to her and feel the need to spread the word so that other people could benefit out of this honest, caring, and spectacular spa ! Girl from Ipanema is my favorite waxing salon. I usually get waxing done by Alex, however I have also had services done with almost all of the staff and I can say EVERYONE has outstanding knowledge of waxing and I feel comfortable in anyone’s hands.

Girl from Ipanema uses their own unique blend of wax which goes on super smooth and makes the entire process almost painless ( I’ve done a lot of waxing at a lot of different places and can say the wax 100% makes a difference).

Finally I would say if not for anything else, do it for your skin - it is way better for your skin to wax the hair than to shave or use other removal processes. I’ve seen the difference it makes over the years and especially if you are prone to ingrown or other skin stuff, the ladies are V knowledgeable on how to care for your skin. THE BEST!!!! I will never go to any other waxing salon. THIS IS THE ONE! My appointment times are always honored, there is never any delay. The salon is always immaculately clean, with aromatherapy and soft lighting. It is so relaxing and my technician, Alex is PHENOMENAL! My daughter and I both have our services done by Alex and it is by far the very best we have experienced anywhere!
