I came in the restaurant for barely 30 seconds and left completely humiliated… the woman possibly Italian had her own issues and let it out on me. There were 3 older women that were struggling to order and I (politely) interrupted I repeat (politely) said (excuse me, if you don’t mind handing me steven’s order right behind you) she responded as (excuse me you’re rude, you see people clearly ordering, what do you want?) I said I’m sorry, I just want this DoorDash order right behind you. Her: (eyes rolling, WHATS THE NAME, SHOW IT TO ME, I NEED TO SEE IT, HERE! AND NEXT TIME YOU WALK IN HERE DONT BE RUDE. I was not rude, not one bit. Mind you, I said DoorDash, I’m getting $8 on a $35 order, the customer lived 18 mins drive, and for whatever reason I wanted Stephen to have hot food; 2 there were no parking, 3 I work with my 7months old son to avoid sicknesses in daycares. 4; ordering out should be priority, I shouldn’t have to stand in line to deliver to your customers. I was not rude. I was racially profiled 100% it’s because I was black and she automatically assumed I was less then. But I am not. Now, let’s think about the full room you had while I was being yelled at; do you think you made the customers sitting and interacting comfortable? Was it worth humiliating me ? Don’t you think it says more about you than me? Let’s say I was (I was not) but let’s say I was rude, wouldn’t it be simpler to just hand me the order, I could be on my way, you apologize for me being rude to the people in front of you, and never have to encounter with me again. Anyhow, thank God for the Internet, I simply wanted to share my experience and I highly doubt this woman is the owner of the place, she would understand basic...
Read moreService was very solid/friendly and the interior of the restaurant had a cool vibe. We ordered the fried calamari (Americano), the Buffalo cauliflower, an orange salad with salmon, and a drunken pizza. The Buffalo cauliflower was super tasty, and the creamy dipping sauce complimented it very well. Unfortunately, the calamari was just mediocre. A tad bit chewy and the breading was falling off. It wasn’t necessarily bad, but I feel that I have had better elsewhere. Both the salad and pizza were also strong offerings. I like the char of the pie and the vodka sauce is great, especially when paired with the fresh mozzarella and ricotta. The salad was fresh and fun, and the salmon was a nice addition for some extra protein. On a personal note, I really enjoyed the music that was being played throughout the restaurant. I’m not sure who controls the playlist, but great song selections. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely come back again. I think the Buffalo cauliflower and drunken pie are both must orders, although the majority of the food will do...
Read moreIncredibly overpriced. We ordered the harvest pasta which was advertised as a “spinach and artichoke linguine” with vegetables for $18. It arrived and was an abnormally small portion and was just standard boxed linguine. Almost $20 for a half portion of box pasta with a few vegetables? The pizza was also an individual size for $16, and arrived undercooked with the dough completely raw in the crust and cold even though the delivery came on time. I was assuming it was at least a “medium” as that’s a typical price for a medium pie in the area. I wish they were clear about the size in the descriptions on the apps. I know prices are up everywhere but this is just taking advantage of the situation. Disappointed with this one and we were fans of this place when we lived in...
