2nd Player Video Games (DC Hat Shop) — Attraction in Sumter

I brought my Xbox to 2nd Player Video Games to be repaired, not sold. They kept it for months, and every time I checked in, I was told different things about the status. I was never clearly told that it was fixed or that I needed to pick it up by a certain date. Later, I found out they sold my Xbox without properly notifying me even though the repair was never actually done.

When I questioned it, they claimed I signed something that let them sell it after a few days, but that was never clearly explained or reasonable, especially since they hadn’t even repaired it. This whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional.

I had a great experience going there very recently. The guys there are great folks...very friendly and helpful. I know I had to be annoying when I basically harrassed them about a PS3 for my wife's birthday, but they were patient with me and helped me get what I was after. The place ain't the cleanest place for sure. So, be prepared for that. But if you're into retro games, these guys are great with their customers. A great local business to support.

Edit: Went again today and they did a lot to clean up. Looks great in there. Super great guys. Great place....
