I had the pleasure of receiving a call from Jasmine, a sales associate at Kimbrellās Furniture Store in Sumter, South Carolina on Broad Street, informing me of a sale they were having. She mentioned that by asking for her specifically, I could receive an additional discount on top of the already great deals being offered. Intrigued by her friendly and helpful demeanor over the phone, I decided to pay a visit to the store and specifically ask for Jasmine upon arrival.

The sales rep informed me that she was trying to see about getting my items the same night but worse case, it would be first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, this was not the case and I coordinated taking the morning off work. I called a few times and at first, I was told deliveries donāt start until 1230 and my items should arrive within the first hour. I called again because I had work and it was already after 2:00 at that point and was told now that it will be between 12:30 and 6:00. I voiced my concern with work and my frustration and the woman didnāt apologize or seem empathetic. She just said āmm hmā and repeated that the delivery will be there between 12:30 and 6:00. Long story short, I didnāt get my delivery until after 4:00 when I was promised it was coming first thing in the morning and ended up missing a whole day of work when I was approved just the morning off. As I get out my debit card calls her to say she needed to talk to her. Manager comes back over to tell me no I had to put 500. So I left the store. Calls me back and said if I could put 150 down it would be below her limit and she would go ahead and approve. I told her I would be in the next morning. Next morning person from the store calls and said she talk to her manager and they would approve it with 300 down.
