China Buffet — Restaurant in Sumter

Passing through and stopped here for lunch. The staff was friendly which was pleasant, but the booths and interior were in need of a good cleaning. A low hanging light that had fallen slightly from its chain smacked the head of someone in our party. He was okay, but that’s unacceptable. Overall, the food was just okay. It would have been a lot better if it was warm. By the time we got the food from the buffet back to the table, it was all cold, which makes me think it wasn’t very warm to begin with. The filling in the crab rangoons evaporated or something, because they were just empty inside, and the beef was so tough you couldn’t chew it. Service wasn't terrible it just wasn't great either. I was upset they didn't have sesame chicken. Their egg drop soup leaves much to be desired. I did try a chicken dish that was pretty good, but I couldn't tell you what it is because nothing was really marked. The spring roll was on point.
