This is our go to dog park even though I drive a bit further from my home. I’ve visited other dog parks, but this is by far the best one we’ve been to.
They have a small and large dog area. Both areas are big and the dogs have lots of room to run and play. The large dog area has some benches and there’s a spot that has tables and benches. There’s also a water fountain for the dog and for their owners. We’ve been here about 4 times and every time, our dog has lots of fun and everyone is very nice. There’s even a few tenis balls for the dogs to play with that are here. There’s also a lake that has ducks and geese that you can walk around on. Plus, there’s a couple of volleyball nets, and basket ball courts. Additionally, there’s a large kids playground that has cool playground equipment such as slides, bridges, swings, and more. There’s also a restroom that’s available. We’ve always felt safe to be here a d they stay open until 10pm with good lights all around. They have water that shoots up in the middle of the lake that has blue lights. It looks pretty...
Read moreThis is a very nice little dog park but BE WARNED... It isn't the park itself that you need to have concerns about, but the dog owners and their lack of supervision of their pets that you need to be extremely wary of here. Each and every time that we have brought our dogs here, other dog owners have simply let their pets run free (and some dogs can be quite aggressive with other dogs) while ignoring them and playing on their phones or laptops. The last time that we went (and trust me it was the LAST) I had to pry a large dog's jaws from my shepherds neck and throat while the owner casually sat under the covering talking on her phone saying to us "It's okay... He's just playing". The bloody teeth marks on the back of my dog's neck begged to differ. Be careful here. Dogs are great but in many cases their humans...
Read moreI have two dogs and have been coming here since I got them. I have see a lot of dogs that have terrible owners. I was actually there the day Michael Jurkiewicz was talking about and was a neutral third party that had to step in after his dog attacked every other dog in the park for the 20 minutes they were there. Funny how things look different from another point of view. If you have dogs that like to bite every dog they see please don't take them to a dog park. That is not called playing rough. When you see your dog being aggressive it is the owners responsibility to stop it immediately. That is called training. I don't know why so many stupid owners bring their untrained dogs here. Most other parks are not like that. Must be the area I guess. Other than that, great...
