EVERYTHING THAT LOOKS GOOD ISNT GOOD! Take it from me! I’m convinced that these reviews are fake or from the business owners friends/family because when I ordered food from them 3 times, it was terrible. I was disappointed 3 times because I tried to give them a chance to redeem themselves but in the end, all I did was wasted money & time. I’D RATHER EAT AT IKE’S! 1st time I went to the restaurant/store, I ordered goat pepper soup, jollof and coconut rice and asked for cut up chicken w/ onions & mackerel with onions and peppers and red tomato stew with assorted meats. The tripe was good, the beef was ok, the chicken and fish were very tough and hard to chew and swallow. The jollof rice was good I didn’t like the coconut rice too much. The goat pepper soup was NASTY! The soup was thick like gravy and wasn’t spicy at all. The pepper sauce was the star of the show. 2nd time was through DoorDash, and they cancelled my order because the oxtail dish I ordered wasn’t available for delivery. 3rd time I went back, I got the jerk chicken and jollof rice pepper sauce and I decided to sample it before leaving. When I tell you that the jerk chicken was sooooooo nasty!!!! It tasted like they seasoned it with jerk seasoning and air fried it smh I ran back inside and asked to switch to another meat, and he substituted it with the dry axx chicken and onions and man I was so fed up I threw the plate out the window. FOOD ISNT FRESH, NO GOOD FOOD HERE!

Aso Rock Market in Atlanta-Suwanee, owned by the incredible Maria, offers an authentic African shopping and dining experience like no other. From the moment you step inside, you’re immersed in a vibrant cultural atmosphere that celebrates the rich traditions of Africa. Maria’s passion for sharing her culture is truly inspiring, and she takes the time to educate customers on the heritage behind the unique products and flavors she offers. The food is simply outstanding—so fresh and delicious that you can taste the love and care put into every dish. Each bite transports you to Africa, offering a genuine taste of home for some and a new, delightful experience for others. The market itself is a treasure trove of authentic African goods, making it a one-stop shop for everything from groceries to cultural essentials. I wish Maria and Aso Rock Market continued success and growth. This place is not just a market or restaurant, but a cultural hub that brings a piece of Africa to the heart of Atlanta. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for African food market items, this restaurant and small food market may have what you're looking for. I searched everywhere for Red Palm Oil and Scotch Bonnet Peppers to prepare an African dish that I ate while visiting Ghana, and I found them here. There is also a restaurant on one side for sit down and take-out meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm so glad this market is near my neighborhood.

This place is very well located to serve the needs of the community and the food served here is excellent. I had visitors from Ohio and my bros in law from Maryland and the UK over to visit, and they loved the food from the restaurantPlus, my Ohio guest actually took several packs of the Afang soup back to Ohio with her when she was leaving! The shelves are very well stocked with a large variety of products, do you can get all you need in one spot! I highly highly recommend this place. My husband has ordered me to never shop...
