EVERYTHING THAT LOOKS GOOD ISNT GOOD! Take it from me! I’m convinced that these reviews are fake or from the business owners friends/family because when I ordered food from them 3 times, it was terrible. I was disappointed 3 times because I tried to give them a chance to redeem themselves but in the end, all I did was wasted money & time. I’D RATHER EAT AT IKE’S!
1st time I went to the restaurant/store, I ordered goat pepper soup, jollof and coconut rice and asked for cut up chicken w/ onions & mackerel with onions and peppers and red tomato stew with assorted meats. The tripe was good, the beef was ok, the chicken and fish were very tough and hard to chew and swallow. The jollof rice was good I didn’t like the coconut rice too much. The goat pepper soup was NASTY! The soup was thick like gravy and wasn’t spicy at all. The pepper sauce was the star of the show.
2nd time was through DoorDash, and they cancelled my order because the oxtail dish I ordered wasn’t available for delivery.
3rd time I went back, I got the jerk chicken and jollof rice pepper sauce and I decided to sample it before leaving. When I tell you that the jerk chicken was sooooooo nasty!!!! It tasted like they seasoned it with jerk seasoning and air fried it smh I ran back inside and asked to switch to another meat, and he substituted it with the dry axx chicken and onions and man I was so fed up I threw the plate out the window. FOOD ISNT FRESH, NO...
