My first experience with Fusion Spa & Wellness was when I was treated to a gift card for a message. It was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was so relaxing. My massage therapist was amazing. Enjoying the sauna, massage chair, and spa showers afterwards was just icing on the cake. My second experience made me a forever customer of the spa. I came in looking for help with my problem skin. I had never really worn makeup and wanted to feel beautiful again. I met MaryRita. Not only did she take the time to listen to what I wanted when I wore makeup, she listened to my concerns about my skin issues, and taught my how to do my makeup. It was something I had never really done before and I was able to do it myself at home like a pro the next day. It looked and felt so natural. MaryRita also introduced me to the Eminence line of skin care products. My face has been cursed with angry blemishes, redness, and acne. I had tried numerous things before without success. I was a little reluctant to try something else at first, but MaryRita even took the time to write everything out for me and I took a trial/travel kit home. When I came in I felt defeated by my skin issues. Two days later, I came back in to the store glowing. My skin was so happy, I was happy. Everyone noticed how improved it was! The change in how I looked at myself and how I felt about myself was priceless. I went in for a little makeup advice and came out with healthy, beautiful skin and a makeup routine that truly worked for me. I can't begin to brag on Fusion Wellness and Spa enough for their amazing services, but especially for their staff, like MaryRita, who make the experience a personal one. Fusion Spa and Wellness is such a gem to have in Sylva. You can go in and pamper yourself in so many ways. There are some amazing goodies in their store. You surely can't make a bad decision in treating yourself, a friend, or a loved one by visiting this place!!! It's only too bad I can't give this place 100 stars, they...
Read moreLeft work to purchase a gift card, shouldn’t take long, right? The receptionist made an error on the To/From line on the gift card and voided the entire transaction. I don’t make a lot and only had enough on my card for that one item, and since she ran my card already, it would not go through again. She proceeded to tell me to call my bank and have them authorize my purchase and that it would go through, like she worked there. It doesn’t work like that—it takes at least a business night to process the void and I needed the gift card for this morning. She was totally clueless. I stood there for almost 30 minutes for her to tell me this!! Asked for some recompense since none of this was my fault and all I got was an offer for a discount on a future service for /me/. I wasn’t there for me I was there to buy a service for a friend. Unhelpful and INCREDIBLY unprofessional and didn’t offer me any decent solution. Won’t be coming back.
Update: 3 days passed and a small emergency came up—went to pay and I still could not use the credit card! Turns out, she ran my card not once but twice for a total of $380, and after speaking again with my bank they confirmed Fusions did NOT void the transaction as I was told! Both transactions were left to be “pending” for who knows how long until the pre-authorization just fell off. Really despicable and unacceptable, train your...
Read moreThe only reason this is 2 star and not 0, is because of the amazing 90min deep tissue massage by Javier. He is excellent at his craft. 6 of us in from 6 different states. All our selected services were booked months before however when we arrived, the first facial did not happen because the aesthetician "didn't know" she had a 10am appt. My issue with this was at 930 am when she was not at work yet, why did the manager or front desk girl not call her and even still why we were not called to let us know.? Never having been here, the first 3 went on to sit in the quiet room and use the "salt cave" Don't bother! You think small cave, what you get can be found in our photos. A cold room with pool loungers, and noisy traffic. The salt never turned on and at the 12 min mark we called up to the front desk to please let us out. Strangely we were never asked if there was a problem nor did she bother to check what had gone wrong. She offered no response when we told her it wasn't working and not relaxing with all the traffic noise! Never mind someone's used beach towel on the table! Most of our party enjoyed their massages however 1 of the massage therapists talked far too much, which is a big no for any relaxation. The facility itself was cute and clean with so much potential but unfortunately fell short...
