The Cut Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Sylva

SORRY, I can’t rate them! Because unfortunately my husband and I were not able to enjoy this place. We walked from our hotel 2.5 miles away to enjoy a time of respite at this restaurant. During our journey it began to rain, but we continued to this location. When we arrived we were told by a man sitting outside that they didn’t open until 5 pm, it was 4:45. We said… well just wait under their covered entrance for 15 minutes, we were wet. The man told us we could not wait there.😵‍💫 Not sure what the issue was, there was no one there, there were outdoor tables and chairs and 15 minutes is not a long time. Welp, they lost our patronage and possibly a couple hundred bucks. Perhaps he judged us by our color. If you’re in the area AVOID this place, instead go to Sante’s The Wine Bar and Cellar. I've been here twice, in the past month.

Their mixologist is amazing! He really knows his drinks! He's also great at making a drink, when a person is undecided on what to get! They have specialty cocktails we definitely enjoyed! They also have a few beer selections.

The charcuterie board was delicious but small for the price. Definitely not enough for two people. They have specials each day of the week. They're open at 5pm so it's a great place to unwind for dinner! Their main food menu is Asian inspired but it does lack the Asian inspired flavors.

I absolutely love the decor! And they have this cute lounge area, in the back, that overlooks the river! There are 2 bathrooms along the way to the lounge area. The bathrooms are definitely cute and clean.

I will definitely be back in a few weeks and highly recommend people...

Cocktails are a passion for me, recently discovered. I don't go drinking often , so when I do I want to try drinks I haven't tried and cannot easily make at home. So it's a delight when I can walk up to the bar and say I want a gin cocktail of some kind, they make me this house cocktail that's delicious. Ask for a tequila one? No worries.

I wish the facility had a touch more comfort space as it can get crowded pretty quick, especially when college is in. Being only one of two cocktail bars in town, other being much smaller.

The membership thing is gone. Prices are reasonable I feel. They have some good food as well. If you're in town, i suggest you try the place.
