This isn't pizza. Pizza should be round and sold quickly, by the slice. Not made to wait 15 min while you wait for one... ONE slice to be heated up. Very inefficient, and what's with the bs toppings at the end? You're wasting time with all that. Wildly inefficient. Here's how to fix virtually everything.

Have the same person taking the order put the slice in the oven and ring it up. Not wait for the one or 2 people making pizza to get it. This saves time. Those guys shouldn't have to get slices. Plus they really only care about pies.

Change the shape.(for your to-stay slices) The whole square pizza thing makes it look cheap af and honestly it's not great. Do round pies, different types. By the slice. This just looks like elios pizza.. kinda tastes like it too. It's weird.

👏 don't 👏 have👏a 👏 fernet 👏 sign but don't know what fernet is. also, no fernet.

Now I get maybe why the pies are oblong and square is kinda how they have them in Italy but... No. It's expensive ellios.

I wanna help, I do, because I see the potential for this place to have some really good pizza.

If you wanna know what it should look like do a search for ginosofronkonkoma or little Vincent's on...

This place was terrible! We sat and waited for over an hour to get food, and the place wasn’t even busy. The drinks were all flat. I went in to get a new drink as our waitress couldn’t care less and never bothered to check in on us or let us know there would be a crazy long wait. I ordered a glass of wine and it was completely flat. I went in to get a new glass out of a fresh bottle and I was told it was all on tap. Also when I went inside there was only one cook and she was taking her dear sweet time to make pizzas. No urgency at all. Hello you have a restaurant to serve, there should be urgency!!! Anyway it is a terrible decision to have all wines and ciders on tap as they were all flat! Over an hour passed and we still had no food. We decided to go elsewhere. When we went inside to cash out on our flat drinks, and told the two girls behind the counter cancel our orders. They gave us attitude, so I had to firmly tell them we are only paying for our drinks. This was my first and last time I will ever go there. Speedys is by far the better...

My husband and I went to this place when it was pie times and thought we would try it out, we walked in and no one spoke several people from behind the bar looked but said nothing we sat at the bar still no one said anything. Sat there for 10 mins, we got up because we finally noticed that it seemed you ordered from the register. We went to order and they were out of several of the doughs and items we wanted also we noticed the size were small for the price. I will say the pizza that was coming out of the brick oven looked legit and amazing. We declined and walked out. I hate to see what seems to be potentially a great pizza be over priced though and bad customer service. Never be to busy to say welcome or hi especially to people paying for your livelihood. Oh well, another place crossed off the list and I guess we will continue to drive to Asheville, Franklin, or Bryson City for dinner on a Saturday night! We retired from Va Beach Military family of 20 years and I hate to see a small town with such charm lack...

5 Stars – Worth Every Bite! We’re visiting from Saint Augustine, Florida, and almost didn’t come because of some of the recent reviews — but WOW are we glad we did! Honestly, those negative reviews must’ve come from folks having a bad day or relying on DoorDash (which never does a place like this justice). Don’t let them steer you wrong. The moment we took our first bite, we had to ask if they used “00” flour — the crust immediately reminded us of V’s Pizza in Jax, which is saying a LOT. It was light, crisp, and had that perfect chew that only great dough can give you. We ordered Karen’s Meatball Pizza and a classic Pepperoni, and both were absolutely incredible. You can taste the freshness in every single ingredient — nothing processed or bland here. The flavors popped and everything felt homemade in the best way. This is one of those rare gems you’re thrilled to stumble upon while traveling. We’ll be talking about this place long after the trip — and if we’re ever back in Sylva, we’re definitely coming back!

What a hidden gym! I have gotten out of the habit of leaving reviews, unless a restaurant has angered me. But oh my! This place is great. I had the supreme pizza. The crust was perfect with just the right amount of char. I loved the fresh cut Parmesan cheese. Toppings were plentiful and the pepperoni had that perfect curl from being baked. People complaining that the crust is burnt are ignorant to the fact the establishment is following food safety guidelines. You have to get food to a safe serving temperature of 165 degrees. That’s going to happen in a true wood fired oven. My only complaint, if it could be called one, is the pricing on the menu was a little confusing. It doesn’t tell you what the sizes are. There are two sizes a slice and a whole. I wish it would have been broken down clearly for a knuckle dragger like myself. I plan on visiting again!
