Narcissus — Attraction in Tallahassee

My daughter and I went into this place expecting to spend a lot of money for two formal gowns and two semi-formal outfits for a wedding.When we walked in, one of the sales girls looked us up and down, said hello, and then walked off. For the next twenty minutes, not one person ever tried to help us, although they managed to help another person who came in. It wasn't until I asked one of the sales people if they could help me about a handbag that they decided we were worth their time. I told them that no one had acknowledged us or tried to help us the entire time we were there, and while they were apologetic, it was too little too late. It's not as if this is a big store and they couldn't see us, and my daughter and I were conversing the entire time, so it wasn't as if they didn't hear us. Very poor customer service. Higher end brands made available in Tallahassee, but they aren’t able to provide the service to match. They target certain people to serve and seemingly ignore the rest.

Nobody asked if I would like a dressing room when I entered the store and started shopping, and the dressing rooms were all open and seemingly ready to be used. I entered one that was open, as no one was around to assist me. The sales girl then had the gall to ask me to hand her dresses for another customer from inside the dressing room while I was changing. She refused to wait while i finished. That is unacceptable and appalling service. Lower-end boutiques will take the clothes from your arms and write your name outside of a dressing room. So my daughter needed a last minute prom dress, I called and made sure they had some and in her size 30 minutes before they closed and found out they did have some but she explained to me that they didn’t have a ton. When I got there the sweet girl had pulled several of gowns and had them waiting in the dressing room for my daughter to try on. Let me just tell you she made great choices and we were so happy with the experience we had there. The girls there were so kind and didn’t try to rush us out as they were nearing their closing time. We have been to several stores and tried on many dresses and fell in love with the dress we purchased.
